“GREEN BRIDGE” PARTNERSHIP PROGRAM AS A TOOL OF TRANSITION TO “GREEN ECONOMY

That’s why Kazakhstan has initiated its Interregional Green Bridge Partnership Programme as a voluntary, regional and practical mechanism to transfer to green economy.

The key thematic areas of the Initiative include:

Eco-efficient use of natural resources and investment in ecosystem services;

Low carbon development and adaptation to climate change;

Promotion of sustainable urban development;

Promotion of green business and green technology;

Promotion of sustainable lifestyles and improvement of quality of life.
