In today’s world schools are not only the providers of knowledge but have an added responsibilityof promoting overall wellbeing of the children.
The SMS Academy is striving hard to promote wellbeing of the children by developing social skills and responsibility from a very young age. The anti harassment and anti bullying School environment is helpful in increasing self worth and competencies.
Quoting John Dewey – Education is not preparation for life: Education is life itself – progressive and experiential.
Hence the School is taking steps to bring proper shift in the learning systems so that meaningful learn-ing can take place. The traditional rote learning by cognitive learning is shifting to hands on learning, which is experiential. Experiential learning is a new paradigm in Education. it is also helpful for whole brain development and thus a need for the day. Whole brain development leads to creativity which in turn involves logic, analysis, words, colour, rhythm, synergy and imagination. It requires both sides of the brain to be used in harmony.
Allowing children to express themselves nourishes their growth. Engaging students in activities that involve expression will properly channelize their energies. Believing and considering their capacities by putting them up in the School Magazine gives proper acknowledgement for their work which will increase their sense of worth.
Bringing out the fourth Edition of ‘Illumination’ is an effort to acknowledge our young hands and minds. It is with great pleasure I express my gratitude to the School Management, Staff and Students, for their effort and contribution. We expect encouragement and support from all the readers too.

Team Work
According to a Chinese Proverb “behind an able man there are always other able men”. To achieve success in
life, we have to work together because teamwork is the heart of great achievement.
Teamwork involves more people, which means more ideas, resources and energy than an individual would have.
There is always a team behind every successful individual or organization. If we take examples of political lead-
ers or business innovators, they always achieve success with the help of their team.
Teamwork shows selflessness and determination. One of the biggest advantages of teamwork is learning. People
tend to learn faster when working with other people. There is always a healthy competition in teamwork, because
if someone wants to excel over another team member, then the task will be completed above and beyond ex-
pectations, another advantage of teamwork is that it enhances creativity.
Teamwork is necessary among students. Teamwork in a classroom teaches students the fundamental skills asso-
ciated with working as a collective unit towards a common goal. By the definition of teamwork it is a group of
individuals with different personality traits, who can contribute to diverse point of views and better approach
to the problems at hand. The team members know the strength and weakness and they understand how to work
with each other. Teamwork introduces a variety of skills that will be valuable for students later in the workforce. In
any type of group work, students must agree about who will handle various components of a project and work
in tandem using one another ’s strengths to accomplish assigned tasks. This teaches time management, resource
allocation, strengthens social skills, emotional skills, communication skills and can improve confidence.
Every students during their academic life needs partners to go on and excel, exams, assignments and what not,
there are so many aspects of academic life that need a team’s input more than an individuals.

Strive for a better life
If I am asked as what do I prefer ‘Health’ or ‘Wealth’?Without any hesitation my answer would be ‘Health’. In a sound body lives sound mind.Regular habits, exercises help us to keep fit. A long brisk walk in the early morning is like a good health tonic.Cleanliness of the body, teeth etc. also help us to maintain good health. Cleanliness is to develop the habit of keeping ourselves and our surroundings neat and clean.Cleanliness is one of the good manners. Good manners make life smooth and worth leaving. If we have good habits and good manners we will be respected and loved by all. Sometimes well dressed and good looking people are found to be lacking in manners, such people are never liked or welcomed by anyone. The people who are always good or a child who is always good never throws litter here and there, they keep their surrounding clean, and they also oppose putting the garbage everywhere in the open area.Along with these good manners the children should know how to use the words as ‘Thank You’ ‘Please’ ‘Sorry’ ‘Excuse me’ etc. effectively. These polite words are like little coins which make the transaction in life smooth and easy. It always demands that we speak slowly and politely. So it is the duty of the parents elders and the teachers to teach good manners, good habits to the young children from their early age.People who keep their surrounding clean are healthy and responsible citizens.‘Promise ‘To save my home‘I promise to throw my trash in the dustbin’.‘I will never waste water and I will close the taps to stop wastage’.‘Young or old we need to care because earth is our home to share’.

Discipline‘Discipline is the key to success’- this saying holds true for all times and for all people of all age groups. But
for students it holds a great value. In contemporary times there are many temptations that can lose a student
away from his basic objective in life.
Discipline comes from the Latin word “Disciplina” which means instruction. In most general sense discipline refers
to giving systematic instructions but in real life, discipline is the bridge between goals and accomplishment.
Discipline directs work, making it fruitful and excellent.
Discipline is the first law of nature. The sun rises and brings the day. It sets and there is night and the moon
and the stars are visible. Man is also a unit of nature so just like nature if human beings do not observe
discipline the entire social structure would fall like a house of cards. Discipline is necessary on all walks of life,
school, college, workplace or society.
Discipline is extremely important in student life. They form the core of other virtues like punctuality, cleanliness
and honesty. A disciplined student is a ruler of his own. As he can rule his own wishes and habits. Thus disci-
pline lays foundation of achieving better results, outstanding in class and more importantly achieving higher
goals in life, goals higher than aimed. The decay of discipline in our country is reflected in violence, bad
traffic sense in people and bad behavior.
At a student’s level, where there is cut throat competition and time is extremely precious, these can prove to
be real obstacles to overcome. Self-Discipline is something student should aim to achieve. It is not a commod-
ity one can buy from the market. It is a rare quality which one has to inculcate nature and cherish from early
childhood.
Concentration will come through self-discipline, which will in turn help a student to scale newer heights of
academic excellence. Success will be there for the taking who value and practice self-discipline and abide
by it at all the times.
One must listen to elders, follow others instruction and follow good habits to become disciplined. Self-disci-
pline is a major aspect of discipline. It is the regulation by oneself on one’s own heart and mind. This helps
to achieve our goals and respect in society. It is rightly said “He that cannot obey, cannot command”. But
self-discipline is only way to achieve complete discipline.
Discipline is necessary for all achievements, especially for all great achievements. Without discipline there can
be no scientific advances, no industrial or technological achievement, no settled system of law and order, no
literary achievement and no exploration and development of new land because all of these matters require
the trained and balanced minds and bodies. Sir Smith has rightly said “Discipline is the refining fire by which
talent becomes ability”. So we must observe discipline to make this school and world a better place to live.
From,Mrs.Kaveriamma .K.P TGT.
Proverbs- A friend in need is a friend indeed.
A real friend is one who helps you when you are in need of help. A number of people may claim to be your friends when you are living in prosperity. But many of them will not be there with you when you are in adversity. The few that remain in this situation are your real friends. The so called friends that desert you when you are in trouble are worse than your enemies. Prosperity makes friends, but most of them desert you when you are in trouble. The true test of the real worth of your friend is your adversity. You must not have too many friends, they must be few but good.

Hope for the best, but prepare for the worst
When we face a difficult situation, we should hope for the best and be cheerful. At the same time we should be prepared to meet the worst that may happen. If we do not make preparation to meet such an unpleasant situation and if we have misfor-tune to face it, it will come upon us unexpectedly, then we will have to suffer more.If we are prepared to meet the worst, we should hope for the best and remain cheerful. This proverb points to that particular point.

A Glimpse of my School Life:
Twelve years passed, each second, each min-ute, each day and each and every year was a splendid and memorable one which I have come through. All the years were the memorable years, the best year was in my 9th Std. in the year 2013-14. The days which gave me lots and lots of fun was the ‘TRIP’ to ‘Kochi’ and ‘Munnar’.The five days trip was the best and unforgetable trip. The best moment in the trip was the four nights which I enjoyed the most. The first night was spent in the bus, dancing for the rocking songs and watching movies, which made me happy…. The second and third night gave me pours of joy and bunch of happiness which I spent with my best buddies. We enjoyed a lot by chatting, laughing, playing, making noises and taking clicks with funny poses and late night sleep. The last night was a very sad night for all of us because our marvelous trip was coming to an end which we did not wanted. We were not ready to go back to our homes. But never mind we all made that sad night a happiest night by dancing for the thrilling songs and shouting at the top of our voice accompanied by our sweet teachers. So that fabulous, fantastic and no words for the ‘BEST TRIP’ I have ever enjoyed and loved the most in my best school life…

The unforgetable incident in my school
Actually guiding is a fantastic experience for all of those who have experienced it. It is an experience of joy,
love, care as well as sympathy. That to guide camp, it’s wonderful. And one more thing is the hike, it ’s very en-
joyable. Once when I had attended a camp in Kondajji, Harihara, Davanagere. It was a 5 days camp from
12th November 2014 to 16th November 2014. It was very nice we had to live in a small tent, it was like a nest
of the birds, the tent was very good and it was located in a beautiful place filled with greenery, everywhere it
was greenery and near it was a big river which would give clean water and it was admirable. The first day was
boring, since we did not know the place, people etc. the next day was very nice with new friends, the teachers
like our parents had to get up early morning at 4:00 A.M and get ready, clean our tents and for about 6:00
A.M we had to reach the place where they hoist the flag. After that there was inspection where they would see
whether our uniform was clean, whether we were in full uniform and if our tents were tidy. Every night after the
dinner, we would put a camp fire and dance and sing etc. First day we had singing session and the second
day we had dancing program it was really a fabulous experience. Among all those days, 14th November 2014
was a great and enjoyable day for us. I mean it was children’s day, we had many cultural activities and we went
to Kondajji Basappa’s grave and prayed a silent prayer. After this we sat around it and sang a patriotic song.
After this we went to our tents happily. Every day we had class from morning to afternoon, this class was held
in the ancient culture like we everybody sat under a tree, listening to a teacher. The Last day was a sad and
happy day. We were sad because we had to leave all our friends, such loving and caring teachers, but in one
side of my heart I was happy because I was returning home. Finally 17th November 2014 (Sunday) we returned
to our home. It was an unforgetable moment in my school. I shared my camp experience with all my friends as
well as with my parents.
This was really a fantastic guiding experience which I can never forget in my life. Thank youBy,

Essay- My Hobby
Hobby is a work that a person likes to do in spare time. It means a hobby is different from a profession. Profession is a work done to earn money. But a hobby is only for pleasure.A hobby keeps us pleasantly busy in our leisure. A hobby adds some more charm to life and makes a life full. Likes and tastes differ from person to person. In the same fashion hobbies also differ. Some people like to collect stamps or playing some musical instrument. Others may like gardening or photography. No doubt a hobby is one of the most satisfying things. Blessed is a person who has a hobby. Such a person is never idle or unhappy. I know what intense joy is there in following a hobby. My hobby activity is painting. I draw and paint human figures and landscapes. This leisure time occupation gives me lot of opportunity to know and study both man and nature.A man in their different moods, postures and attitude is a very interesting subject. Sometimes I stand in the corner of a busy place and study people. I watch their movements, expressions, dresses etc. and get extreme delight. Then I try to paint or draw them on the paper. When I am busy in painting, I am perfectly at peace. No unwanted thoughts or worries disturb me then. Moreover it gives me a great satisfaction that I am doing something purposeful and enjoyable both for me and others.I have to draw, redraw and again draw till I am satisfied. This is a good training in mental discipline, perseverance and patience. And I spend my pocket money in purchasing material for my painting. This is how I spend my leisure time.

The unforgettable moment
In my School I had many moments. In that few were surprising, few were shocking, few made me sad and few
happy, out of all one is unforgetable for me. It was like three in one as it made me sad, happy and shocked.
It was 3rd August 2012, the day of Raksha Bandhan. As usual we were tying rakies to each other. We were all
very happy that day. The next day 4th August was my Birthday, I was so happy with colour dress and sharing
sweets with friends, the same day we had a drawing competition for the independence day.
As the day passed we were all happy till afternoon. This unforgetable moment was a fight it was like war without
weapons between boys and girls. First we started with the talk fight. In our talk few words turned and started
hitting each other. Thank God! Nobody was injured. This made me very sad.
After the fight I felt that I shouldn’t have done this on my birthday. Instead of fighting I could have stopped
others from fighting. I don’t know if my friends also felt the same.
Apart from this I had many unforgetable moments. I wish it would be like a black boarded headlines on a news-
paper in my life. I also wish such incident should never happen again.
From this I learnt that it will pain more not when fighting but after the fight , when we think about it later.
Let my experience be a lesson for you all.

Grammar Family
There lived a happy family in the field of grammar,A husband named “Noun” and wife “Verb”. They lived in the house of parts of speech, they had two sons and one daughter. The elder son always helped his father, so people called him as “Pronoun”.The younger son was a poet and always described everything around him. And they called him as “Adjective”.The daughter always described her mother and her name was “Adverb”.There lived a servant in their house and he was a joker, his name is “Interjection”, his work would bring the people happiness. There was a brother-in-law of noun and name “Preposition”.“Conjunction” was a friend to all and had a close relationship with them. Thus, the family lived happily, and we can learn grammar very quickly.

Is it Governism or Terrorism
India a few decades ago became democratic, but it is still frustration.
This is because of our politicians, who go behind nothing else than corruption.
Before election they make many promises, but after elections they are busy fulfilling their own desires. They don’t want their country to develop, they just want their bank account filled up!We the public have a lot of choice, but no one dare to raise his voice.Because of the fear of being killed, that nobody would have ever willed! Is this what we call governism or can we call it terrorism.Isn’t there any solution? For this so called corrup-tion!I think we should all get united and raise our voice. And leave them with no other choice, than to serve our country. And make it one of the world’s victory!!!

The Yummiest Pizza
Some Memories stay in our mind for long time. Small things have more fun in them. Similarly for me it was just an immense joy and pleasure.I had my yummiest pizza with four of my besties. It was last year though, we had been to Kochi. We visited lot of places and one evening we went to the Lulu Mall. After doing handful of shopping our stomach started hunting for food. We thought of going to KFC, Mc Donald.. etc. but at last ended up in a Pizza Hut.We enjoyed eating pizza, but for one slice our stomach was overloaded but then the taste was unbeatable, I think it is because it had all our happiness. We still don’t know what was so funny to giggle or laugh. But I am sure no one would have called the waiter as much as we did. So we thought we will give some tips as the extra money. At last, it was the bill time and we started counting coins and notes but for our astonishment the bill was double the amount shown in the menu card and all of our idea of giving tips became unsuccessful and we didn’t dare to question then why.So once again we put extra money and paid the bill and came out bursting with laughter, anger and with all kind of emotions. Then only we came to know that we were fooled by them. Totally we had a great time and it was the yummiest pizza I ever had….!!!

Class XJourney of my School Life…..
“As a child we always wanted to grow up fast”. Just like that, I have passed my 12 years in my school. During my school life I met many new friends and got many besties too… I was really lucky to have friendly teachers. They were very nice and loyal to me.But at the same time, we had to follow the rules and regulation. And unbearable tension of our examination, but such kind of tensed moments is unforgettable. I came across lots of happiness as well as sadness. Moreover I really enjoyed all our picnics from school, where we all friends and teachers enjoyed a lot especially I can never forget many incidents in my class where all of us enjoyed a lot by chatting and fighting with each other.Even though we fought we never broke our friendship. Above all our ‘Annual School Days’ and ‘Sports days’ are really unforgetable and awesome moments where all the students were eager to know about the announcement of best group as well as our entertaining programs. But now I’m really going to miss all these moments, all the fun, fight etc. But now I feel more practical and wiser. All experience in my school is going to be everlasting for me.

True Friend
A friend is someone who is well known and liked, but who is not related. A true friend is the one who walks in once life in all the situation. Being the backbone or support to one is the best quality of a friend. A mistake of true friends hurts the most as compared to a mistake done by others. For example, as a student I was irritated by few people of the class, she always blamed others. All her class mates said that the unknown person was her friend which she never believed. Finally, she raises her temperature after knowing the truth. This example tells that true friends hurt more than others. Instead of searching for a true friend one must himself try to become the same. A famous quote says ‘Before changing things around, try to change yourself, then you find the world also change’.A true friend can never betray, if it happens so it may be due to some circumstance where he/she has to betray. Finally thanks to all my true friends for supporting me.

The Confession
Arun and Bhajan were the two boys of class eight. Arun hailed from a well to do family which made him very
arrogant and unfriendly in the school. Bhajan hailed from a poor family who lost his parents in a natural
disaster when he was very young. Bhajan was smart and friendly and wasa favourite in the school and was
fondly called as Bhajji.Arun was jealous of Bhajji for his popularity in the school and he was waiting for a
chance to degrade him in front of his school mates.
The school was in a festivity mood. The School Annual Day celebration day was announced and the students
were split into different groups to practise their respective activities. Arun and Bhajji both were selected for
a drama.Arun got his role to enact as an arrogant and unjust king. Bhajji got his role to enact as an orphan
who had lost his parents in a war. The scripts were given to them and were asked to practise it by heart.
The long awaited day arrived and it was time for all the students to display their talent in front of their
parents and their friends. The drama was to be played on ‘THE CONFESSION’. The narrator was narrating the
story and Bhajji had to enter stage to play his role. But Bhajji was in utter Confusion since he had lost his
script on which he wanted to have a last look.
Bhajji entered the stage pleading the king for mercy as he was falsely accused of robbing the royal treasure
but the actual culprit was the prince himself. Bhajji forgot his dialogues, his years of controlled grief burst into
tears and he started narrating his own story of tragedy. Kneeling down in front of the audience, tears rolling
down his cheeks, the entire gathering was moved by his act and gave him a big round of applause.
The narrator said this is the real life story of Bhajji which was a secret for everyone. Arun, the king who was
planning to embrace him was shocked to know about the reality of his rival.
It was the time of the award ceremony. The play ‘The Confession’ was announced the best. All the actors came
over the stage to receive the award. Arun moved forward to mike and announced the award is dedicated to
his friend Bhajji and he said the real confession will be done in the presence of everyone and he said what
he had done to degrade Bhajji and take a revenge for no mistake of his friend.
Off the stage Arun stood in a corner sobbing bitterly, Bhajji approached him and hugged him tightly. Arun
was very happy and hugged bhajji. ‘Will you forgive me?’ asked Arun. For what reason should I forgive you,
instead I should thank you for giving me an opportunity to overcome my grief. “How could you control your
emotions all these years?” asked Arun. Bhajji said with a smile on his face “My life has taught me this”.
Both hand in hand smiling came out of the green room. Everyone waiting cheered them and then both re-
mained best friends forever.

My School Life
Everyone’s school days have the memories they can cherish and treasure for life. School days are the most joyful
and fun filled, with many mysteries to solve and fights to resolve.
My school life so far from the first day was really awesome. I was hardly five when I was admitted to this school.
That was the memorable time when I learnt my first letter. The memory of my first day is still fresh in my mind.
The entry of my sweet friends in my life made my school life the most wonderful and interesting one. We all read
together, played together, sat together and shared together. We learnt how to adjust with the society at later
part of life. We read in a spirit of togetherness, we forgot all our sorrows in the river of joy.
The later part of my school days was full of enthusiasm. The unforgetable moments experienced by us really
cannot be explained in words. The love of sharing things, small fights and misunderstandings, the lovely incidents,
innocent acts, stupid secrets, amazing annual days, joyful trips, stunning dances, enthusiastic sports days, won-
derful wet land sports, interesting interschool competitions etc. etc. it was all just amazing. In every field we got
proper scope to improve our knowledge and style.
It is in the school we enjoyed the affection of our teachers. Teachers acted as guides and guardians to guide
us on the right path. They tried to remove the evils from us by showing some seeds of good qualities in us. I also
spent a very happy time with my classmates. As children we always wanted to grow up fast, but now we realized
that incomplete homework and broken toys were far better than unfulfilled dream and the world outside.
Above all my school life was full of pleasure as study and play went hand in-hand. But now I miss my school from
all within my heart. In the end I would like to say, that in the cookie of my life school, teachers and friends are
chocolate chips that made my life sweet, surprising and yummy. I would like to thank my teachers and friends for
being the yummy Choco-chips of my life.

Doing Your Best
To understand the importance of giving your best, we should know ourselves better. Our goals can be
achieved only if we are prepared to work hard towards them. We should dare to think the unthinkable
thoughts. We must learn to explore all the options and possibilities that confront us in a complex and rapidly
changing world. Today life has given us so many bright opportunities to outgrow ourselves from the cocoon.
Knowing yourself first says that you can do your best from within.
We have to know how to improve ourselves in a better way to achieve our goal. Hardwork is the key to
success. A creative mind can do wonders sometimes. As the phrase goes “Creativity involves imagination,
purpose, originality and values”. Ideas come from a new way of thinking, a new way of doing things. An idea is
the starting point of creativity and innovation. If you have a creative mind you can do your best out of this.
Creative mind helps everyone to generate new ideas if it is a naughty one, he is being creative.
Our state of mind suggests our state of thoughts. Our will power has to be strong to win the battle of life.
In any course of life, may be your education, career, family or society we have to show the power of will-
ingness to do our best. Always the life’s battles don’t go to the stronger and faster man, but sooner or later
the man who wins is the man who thinks he can. If any person is talented his determination says that he can
achieve and his motivation determines how much he is willing to do. Along with it, his attitude determines how
well he can do it.
Each and every person is motivated by one or the other situation in life or by one or the other person. Great
person always inspires us y their thoughts and deeds. That person may be a local layman or he may be the
most famous personality in the world. When you are inspired by someone, at that nick of time we should deter-
mine to do something that may be even a day’s work.
Determination and perseverance always nurtures our thoughts to keep going. Each individual has the capac-
ity to fulfill his dreams. As quoted by Mark Twain “Catch the trade winds in your sails, explore, dream, discover”.
We should explore our lives, dream for it and discover for what we are. If we have a clear goal and focus we
can aim it without any hindrances.
“If you think you’ll lose, you’re lost.
For out in the world we find
Success. Begins with a fellow’s will,
It ’s all in the state of mind”.

Nurture the Nature
Meteorologists all over the planet guess that certain features of the local weather or a climate change are
most probably cyclical in order and occur over short or long periods. Yet these are evidences of violent
changes in the climate in the past.
The extinction of the dinosaurs is the commonest example given of such a phenomenon of violent change in
the climate. Measured on a geological time scale, that event took place many millions of years ago. Accord-
ing to many scientists we are facing global warming. They apprehend that this global warming cause unpre-
dictable ecological changes.
Chris Thomas, a biologist at the University of Leeds in England and the lead author of the research report
published in the January 2004 issue of Nature claims that many land based species of the plants and ani-
mals will be extinct in the next 50 years if global warming continues.
One need not tie up the necessity of controlling air pollution to apprehensions of global warming. There are
more immediate reasons for controlling emission of greenhouse gases. These gases pollute the air and cause
health hazards. One need not pace a priority between the objectives of preventing global warming and
improving environmental health because accent on health will help mobilize public support for reducing emis-
sion of air polluters and therefore prevent global warming. Threat to health should be the immediate concern.
Many people take nature for granted and do not realize that they cannot just reap from it. The earth needs
to be nourished in return, so it can catch up with the people’s requirement. Everyone should assist in preserv-
ing nature because someday it may start to vanish.
Everyone can help save the nature around us by acting out in many different ways. Recycling, planting, using
ecofriendly products and bringing awareness to this horrid matter are just few simple acts that can cure the
earth.
Applying the necessary changes will allow everyone to witness the beauty in Mother Nature. Clean air and
fresh water will be the major effects that everyone will love.
Simple changes can be made to better Mother Earth. So start taking responsibility to make a difference or
else it may descend into nothing.By,

The Person Who Influences Me The Most
Someone said that god couldn’t be everywhere, so he created mothers because she is a dedicated lady to
her family and work. Totally, she is a mother who sacrifices her life for her beloved family.
Do without any doubt she is the most influential person in my life. Be it studying, cooking scrumptious food,
advising me as well as guiding me, she is the first person whom I look up to. I admire the way she handles me
at a number of times. She has to take care of our family and carry out all the household activities. All this is
certainly not very easy. She has to have immense patience for all this. There are a lot of things that I have to
learn from her.
My mother is a great story teller. She is better than anybody I know and I have to admit it. I know that I can
count on her to be my biggest fan, my harshest critic and the most loyal friend. She is the friend I turn up for
advice. She has been the shoulder that I cry on. I can rely on her at the most difficult times and I am sure of it.
I love spending time with my mom. Infact, it is one of my leisure activities.
My Mother is great at everything and I truly believe that she is the best chef, the best hair stylist, the best
teacher and what not. She is the best mom in the world because, no matter how hard or difficult is the circum-
stances, and she never loses her patience. She is great at handling situations. On the whole, she is and she
will be my favourite. She is the best mom I could ever asked for.

The Career I Admire The Most
The career I admire the most is mechanical engineering. It is the most interesting thing for me. Since I was a kid,
I always wondered the machines or engine of automobiles. Since I was a kid I didn’t completely of mechanical
engineering. I came to know about this when I grew up.
Mechanical engineers are one who creates the heart of the machine. Everything from a small screw to space
shuttle is created by mechanical engineers. Mechanical engineering is the largest, oldest and the broadest
discipline. In mechanical engineering there are two types, one is technical field and the other is practical field.
I like to go for the practical field. I find it to be very interesting. If I want to succeed in my career, I need to
score outstanding marks in my school days and have to score a distinction in PUC. And then I want to go to
Lambourgh University in UK which is one of the world’s finest engineering colleges. From there I want to gradu-
ate with the “S” grade which is the top grades in engineering. And then I will go to the world’s top automobile
customizing company “The Westcost Customs”, which offers only a few Indians as hosts. And I would like to be
one of them. I want to work there for only 5 years. Then I would like to go to Aston Martin which is the world’s
costliest automobile manufacturing company. This is the careering I’m dreaming since I was a little kid. And this
is the career I admire the most. Finally I hope that I succeed in my career and become a successful person.

Report- Annual Day Celebration 2015-16
It was a sparkling afternoon of the 3rd January 2015. As the clock showed 2 O’clock, the bright glitter of sun
showered on all faces of S.M.S family. All the invitees gathered in the playground to witness the day. The frolic
day began with the arrival of the guests escorted by the school band troop to the arena.
The heart full invocation of almighty was done for his explicable blessings. As per tradition the welcoming of
guests and invitees were greeted. After all the formalities, the traditional dance barathnatiyam was performed.
The inspiring and proud moment of the day, was the expelling of heart full words by our chief guests Sharin
Subbaiah and H K Pandu. The frolicsome and educational activities in the various fields were captured in a
school report which was presented by the principal of the institution. The mesmerizing performance given by
the little ones showered a smile. The sportive act Karate was displayed in a unique and highly disciplined
manner. The pretty girls gave a mind blowing dance to the tunes of Bollywood songs.
The history of the Kalanchery Math was displayed in the form of drill, which gave us the knowledge about the
struggles and drops of sweat shed by our founder Sri Sri Shanthamalla Swami to build the foundation bricks
of our future. The anxious moment for the students was the announcement of the best group, for which the
students had worked very hard and finally the best group award was blessed to ‘Basava’ group this year. We
were very much blessed on that day with the Ashirvachana by our Swamiji.
Various activities were conducted for parents which brought the memories of their childhood. The mesmerizing
program finally came to an end with refreshment to the gathering. The day was conducted successfully and
the amazing performances was appreciated by one and all present to witness the day. Thank You

DreamsOften, in my sleepA new world opens to meAs I step in the door closesA wraithlike crystal World.
Mostly, I’m the spectatorWatching my life as a filmAnd sometimes as an actorWho got a role to play.
Sometimes, I lead my dreamOr follow othersBad dreams make me sadAnd little dreams make me glad.
What is this dream made of?To be broken up soonWhen I wake up I see things crystal clearBut fade away in reality.
Who opens the door for dreams? To shut too quickly. Why is this dream for us?To make us happy or sad!!!

I Miss My School Days In All The WaysDuring the school days,Life is awesome without any tension,To make more friends,Was the only intension.
So many different hands,In a single lunch box,Everything is open,Without any hidden locks.
Every second in school,There is a happiness blast,But, the truth is that,These times will be just passed.
I miss the elections that gave us thrill,The wet land sports that gave us chill,I miss all my teachers and friends,But I’ll never forget them, until my life ends.

We spend our school life enjoying. But teachers spend their life teaching.Teachers are the sculptors, who form the children to a beautiful sculpture.
Students should develop it with knowledge and natureMany students face physical discrimination,But many neglect it with hesitation. But always remember, a repaired clock can also show exact time twice a day.So, don’t discriminate others as every dog has a day.

At first it starts from an infant,Crawling across like an ant,Then becomes a school by,Playing merrily with joy.
Then enters the stage of youth,Reasoning all facts and truth,Then hunt begins in search of aim,Also expecting a favorable fame.
Thus chooses to become a professor. He thinks more to get an answer,Then finally becomes an old poet,A solution for problems is what he finally gets.
