The structural components ofthe floor, wall and roof are totally prefabricated by Loom Crafts as we are experts in theprocessing, with numerically controlled machines, and assembly of the materials.

THE BUILDING’S CONFIGURATION

LOOM CRAFTS promotes modularity in the construction sector: buildings will be no longerdesigned, but configured with standard components, that are produced in the factory.The shape, the function and every surface, internal and external, are customizable: there areno limits to the imagination!

PRODUCT DISTRIBUTION

Any prefab component is delivered directly to the construction site and installed rapidly;thanks to an error-proof joint systems and mechanical fastenings. PACKAGING

The modular panels and the other elements are packed and safely loaded on trucks, in order toassure the maximum performance and protect the quality of the product. The final customerwill not receive a pre-mounted module, as it used to imply an oversize load, so the delivery costwould be expensive.

DELIVERY AT THE CONSTRUCTION SITE

The dimensions of the modular panels are optimized, so that they can be loaded into a standardtruck or container. This means LOOM CRAFTS can ship worldwide its products.

SIMPLE ON-SITE MOUNTING

The assembly of the structures is simple, quick and intuitive. Each panel is lifted by a light cranetruck, it is positioned correctly, then fastened with screws. Finally, vapor barriers seal thebuilding, so that the structure is completely protected against water and moisture.

Wood moisture content

Wood is not used for any structure member in our cottages, so moisture doesn'tharm our structure.

Entire structure made of wood with moisture level 12-14% which will absorbmore moisture in coming years resulting in poor performance.

Fire Rating All the materials used in our construction are fire rated with minimum 60 minsrating, also as there is minimum use of wood in structure the risk is minimum.

As the entire structure is made of wood, it can never be fire rated as per thenorms and the risk is maximum.

TermiteAny wood used for cladding purpose in our cottages is termite resistant and aswood is only used for decoration purpose there is minimum risk of termiteweakening the structural strength.

Entire structure made of wood which is always at risk of termites resulting inweakening the structural stability.

Electrical and Plumbing conduits

All electrical conduits and plumbing pipelines are hidden inside our walls cavitiesand never exposed.

All electrical conduits and plumbing pipelines exposed as the walls doesn't haveany cavities as it made of solid wooden logs.

Weather effects As our cottages and homes are made of steel structure, there is minimumimpact of weather on them.

Wooden structures will behave differently in different weather conditions andare sceptical to harsh weathers.

Warranty 20 years for any structural damage or leakages due to rain 15 years on wood rotting, no warranty for structural stability and leakages
