SciTech specializes in manufacture of Pharmaceuticals, Dietary Supplements & Nutraceuticals in

Day 1:

Familiarization of activities in each department in plant 1

Plant I specialise in manufacturing of Nuhaceuticals. A brief introduction about industry was

given by Mr. Deepak patil (QA Manager). After that famlliaization of activities in storage,

production, QA, QC, micro, Product development, engineering and dispatch departments. All the

Familiarization of activities in each department in plant 2

Plant 2 specialise in manufacturing of Pharmaczuticals effervescent tablet. A brief introduction

about plant2 was given by Mr. Sagar Shirsath (Production Manager). After that familiarization of

activities in production, QA, QC, micro, Product development engineering departments. All the

department head explain the current activity.

Day 3:

Detailed on Job training in Production department.

All the activities held in pioduction department explain by M.. Sagar Shirsath (Production

Manager). Training takes place in granulation, Vacuum tray dryer (WD), tablet compression,

packaging and IPQC department.

In Granulation various instrument use like Vibroshifter, Rapid mixer granulator (RMG), Fluid bed

dryer (FBD), Octagonal blender and multimill. The principle, construction, working, handling and

cleaning of all these instrument was studied.

After granulation VTD was studied. After that tablet compression machine's principle, working

and cleaning studied. In industry 20 station D4 tooling Accura compression machine use.

In packaging department primary, secondary and tertiary packaging was studied. Blister

packaging, strip packing and tube filling takes place in primary packaging. Principle, working,

manufacturer and temperature condition learned for all these instrument.

Beside all these temperature condition, humidity condition, air system andHEPA filter learned for

Air lock system, passage area and mre area.

Day 4:

Detailed on Job training in Quality control and Microbiology department.

Mr. Mahendra Godase (QC Head) introduce quahty control department. He explain about acnvily

flow chart of QC.

Mr. Sudhir shinde gaye brieftraining in sampling procedure, analysis and status labelling of water,

raw material, packing material, in process and finished products as well as brief training of

chemical analysis.

Mr. Ashpak inamdar gave detail haining on instrument and equipments include HPLC, FTIR, UV

visible spectrophotometer, K.Ftitrator, potentiometer, polarimeter etc.

Mr. Rahul Baviskar give haining in microbiolory department. He explained the role of

microbiology in pharmaceuticals. He gave brief taining in microbial testing include Gpt testing,

compressed air testing, personal hygiene testing, drainage swab testing etc. Also gave training on

instrument and equipments cleaning and validation of autoclave, laminar air flow, incubator,

colony counter, air sampler etc.

Day 5:

Detailed on Job training in Product Development @ and D)

Mr. Satish Nndugude (Head of R & D department) introduced the activities carried in the

department. He give detail training on small scale instrument and equipments used in R and D

department. He explained the make, model No., application, working, principle and basic

compenets of RMG, Vibroshifter, FBD, multimill, octagonal blender, strip packing machine,

pouch packing, tablet compression machine, VTD etc.

At the evening question- answer and feedback session takes place with Col. Pravin Gadre, Mr.

Deepak Patil, Mr. Satish Nandgude and Mrs. Sunita Vyas.

FDP programme ended with vote of thanks.
