INTRODUCTIONEPDCL is one of the leading Distribution Company in the India, is extending its Services to the

public in the five Districts of its Jurisdiction i.e. Srikakulam, Viziangaram, Visakhapatnam, East & West

Godavari , through its existing 67 No’s Customer Service Centers Which are available at Sub-Division

Level .

These Customer Service Centers at Sub-Division level will cover 5 to 6 Mandals and are restricted to the

area of jurisdiction , the consumer has to visit his/her respective CSC to avail any of the EPDCL services

In order to provide better consumer service and to improve customer satisfaction at his convenience

and enhance more number of Service delivery points, EPDCL has Migrated its Services from existing

CSC’s on to Mee-Seva since 15th August 2016.

Now all 46 Services that are being offered through CSC’s through its 67 centers are now migrated to

nearly 2600 Mee-Seva Centers.

New Service Connection ‘With out Estimate’(1 to 4)

Process Flow for New Service Connection‘With out Estimate’

When there is no requirement of additional infrastructure and if the

service can be released on the existing lines, the consumer can

opt for New Service Connection under this head.

1) NSC without estimate-domestic:

Description: Consumer can apply a service connection under this categorywhen the individual house having a separate kitchen withcompleted wiring and the pole is below 30 metres

Requirements: 1.Signed application.

2.Sale deed/latest house tax receipt /allotment letter

3.Self declaration for Wiring Certificate

4.Aadhar card

5. Photo

Charges: Amount per 1 kw Rs.1450/-

Development Charges- Rs. 1200/-

Security Deposit- Rs.200 /- + Service Charges(Rs.35/-)

Application fee – Rs.50/-

Note: If consumer is not having any proof of ownership then consumer can apply with Aadhar

card and Rs. 100/- Non-Judicial self Indemnity bond with 3 times Security Deposit.

2) NSC without estimate-commercial:

Description : consumer who avail supply of power in this category for commercial and

non- domestic premises such as under construction, shops, Business,

offices,public buildings,hospitals,hostels,hotels, choultries, restaurants,

clubs, theaters, bus stations, railway stations, timber depots, photo

studios, printing presses, etc..

Requirements:1. Signed application

2. Sale deed/latest commercial tax receipt /allotment letter

3. Self declaration for Wiring Certificate

4. Aadhar card

5. Photo

Charges: Amount per 1 kw 2100/- + service charges

Development Charges- Rs. 1200/-

Security Deposit- Rs.800 /- + Service Charges(Rs.35/-)

Application fee – Rs.100/-

Description: This is applicable for supply of power for temples, churches, mosques, government educational institutions and schools, public charitable trusts and societies registered, government welfare hostels and Registered old age Homes, Medical Institution on a no profit Basis .Requirements: 1.Signed application 2.secretary letter for school &colleges & welfare hostels 3.society registration letter for temples 4.Aadhar Card 5.Self declaration for Wiring Certificate 6. New Service Connection ‘With Estimate’ (5 to 16)

Process Flow for New Service ConnectionWith Estimate

When there is no infrastructure readily available to release theconsumer can opt for New Service Connection under this

head. Upon registration the department officer will inspect thelocation, prepare and sanction the estimate and intimate

customer as to how much has to be paid.

7) NSC with estimate-Industrial:Description: : for this category consumer applying contracted load of 75kw/100Hp and below. for small scale industrial purpose any

manufacturing, processing preserving goods for sales and also floor mills, oil mills, saw mills, poultry mills forming units ,floriculture in green

houses, sugar can crushing and news paper printing units

23) ACD/SC/BB/Arrears disputes:

Description: For this services

Back Billing, Additional Consumption Deposit,Short fall charges: A back-bill is a ‘catch-up’ bill sent to you by yourelectricity supplier when you haven’t been correctly charged for your energy use, for 12 months or more.

The department has been charging ACD - a refundable security charge - from customers by asking them to payan amount equal to their electricity bill for two months, which is calculated after taking out the monthly average of theirconsumption for a year.

Flow for Re-Upload Documents

This service facilitates citizen to Re-upload Supporting documents for New Connection Applications

which are rejected by the Department

If any application number rejected by department due to unsatisfactory or insufficient documents,

then Citizen has provision to upload his documents using Re-upload Documents in EPDCL

Department.

This Re-upload facility is available only in Mee-Seva centre where he had applied New Connection

Service. For this Re upload service need not to pay any amount
