Item No. 3: To decide on the ~roposals received for a~proval of fees structure for the courses started durinq Academic Year 2014-15:

Item No. 3(al: To consider and decide on ~roposals where there are no discreoancies.

The Samiti considered the proposals of the following CollegesIInstitutes for finalization of fee structure for the students who joined the course started during Academic Year 2014-15. After deliberations, The Samiti decides to approve the final fee structure of the following Colleges/Institutes for the students who joined the course started during Academic Year 2014-15, subject to final approval/affiliation/permissions from respective Authorities. Figures are arrived at after considering the calculations drawn in the worksheet - calculation sheets of the respective colleges/institutes prepared by a Chartered Accountant. The students admitted in Academic Year 2014-15 and there after continuing their studies will pay an enhanced fee of 8% each successive year as per the norms for 2014-15 till completion of the course. For example if the fee approved is Rs. 1,00,000/- then from 11" years onward till completion of the course i.e. say 11, I11 and IV year the fees will be Rs. 1,08,000/- per @. In case the students take V th years for completing the course then he shall pay the fee approved in that year. I n case a student joins the course direct in second year, then he shall be required to pay Rs. 1,08,000/-. Worksheet - Calculation sheets are available in the office.

To consider and decide on prowsals where discrepancies are vet to be pointed out and cleared bv the Colleses/Institutes.

The Samiti considered the proposals of the following Colleges/Institutes for finalization of fee structure for the students who joined the course started during Academic Year 2014-15. After deliberations, The Samiti decides to approve the final .

fee str~~cture of the following Colleges/Institutes for the students who joined the course started during Acaderr~ic Year 2014-15, subject to final approval/affiliation/permissions from respective Authorities. Figures are arrived at after considering the calculations drawn in the worksheet - calculation sheets of the respective colleges/institutes prepared by a Chartered Accountant. The students admitted in Academic Year 2014-15 and there after continuing their studies will pay an enhanced fee of 8% each successive year as per the norms for 2014-15 till completion of the course. For example if the fee approved is Rs. 1,00,000/- then from 11" years onward till completion of the course i.e. say 11, I11 and IV year the fees will be Rs. 1,08,000/- per @. I n case the students take V th years for completing the course then he shall pay the fee approved in that year. I n case a student joins the course direct in second year, then he shall be required to pay Rs. 1,08,000/-. Worksheet - Calculation sheets are available in the office.

I tem No. 4(i): To consider and decide on the email letter dated 8/10/2014 received from R.C. Patel Educational Trust's Institute of Manaqement Research & Development, Shirpur reqardins ad-hoc fee structure for the newly started Dual Deqree course in MCA in the AY 2014-15.

Considered the letter dated 8/10/2014. It is in respect of MCA Dual Degree course. It is for declaration of adhoc fee for the said course. The adhoc fee declared is Rs. 60,000/-. Office to Communicate.

I tem No. 4 (ii): To consider the letter bearinq No. Sankira 2014/~ra.kra.246/tech. Edu.4. dated 20/10/2014 received from Under Secretary Hiq her And Technical Education Department Mantralava in respect of Lew of additional fees from students in Professional Courses in Somaiva Vidvavihar colleqe.

Considered the letter dated 20/10/2014 received from Under Secretary Higher And Technical Education Department Government of Maharashtra. It requires to be noted that the norms are settled by the Samiti by holding open hearing . The norm No. 1.6 is as under :

"The students admitted in the Academic Year 2014-15 and there seer continuing their studies will pay an enhance fee of 8% till the completion of the course (during the stipulated period of the course). For example if the fee is approved is Rs. 1,00,000/- then from ~ l " ~ years onward till completion of the course i.e. say I& III and IV year the fees will be Rs. 1,Ot$000/- per year. I n case the student take vh years for completing the course then he shall pay the fee approved in that year. I n case a student joins the course direct in second year, then he shall be required to pay Rs. 1,08,000/-." This is followed in case of all Institutions. It is done broadly considering the rate of inflation. Further after the 2nd year the new students entering the college pay higher fees and that compensates the inflation also it is changed to 8% from 2012-13. Prior it was 7%. I n fact earlier the norm was the fee once fixed

would continue for the entire course. But considering the representations from colleges the change was made and the inflation was taken into the consideration. The norms are settled after hearing the interested parties every year and required changes made. Time and again this has been pointed out. Office to Communicate.
