An undertaking of work life - this is never an outcome of a singleperson; rather it bears the imprints of a number of people whodirectly or indirectly helped me in completing the present study. Iwould be failing in my duties if I don't say a word of thanks to allthose who made my training period educative and pleasurable one.

I am thankful to CETPA INFOTECH PVT. LIMITED for giving me anopportunity to do summer training in the company.

First of all, I am extremely grateful to Mr. ANURAG for his guidance,encouragement and tutelage during the course of the training despitehis extremelybusy schedule. My very special thanks to him for giving me the opportunity to do this project and for his support .

I would also like to thank all the respondents for givingtheir precious time and relevant information and experience, Irequired, without which the Project would have been incomplete.

Preface

At very outset of the prologue it becomes imperative to insistthat vocational training is an integral part of engineeringcurriculum. Training allows us to gain an insight into the practicalaspects of the various topics, with which we come across whilepursuing our B.Tech i.e. vocational training gives us practicalimplementation of various topics we already have learned and willlearn in near future. Vocational training always emphasizes on logicand common sense instead of theoretical aspects of subject.

On my part, I pursued Six weeks training at CETPA INFOTECH PVTunder the supervision of Mr. ANILKumar.The report first shall give an overview of the tasks completed during the period of training and the results obtained.  

I have tried my best to keep report simple yet technically correct. I hope I succeed in my attempt.

Introduction

At the beginning of the internship I formulated several learninggoals, which I wanted to achieve:

To see if this kind of work is a possibility for my futurecareer;

To use my gained skills and knowledge; To see what skills and knowledge I still need to work in a

professional environment; To build a network.

This training report contains my activities that have contributed toachieve a number of my stated goals. In the following chapter adescription of the organization CETPA INFOTECH PVT LIMITED and theactivities is given.

ACTIVITY 1

Description: Designing the first page of the application

The first page of the application has to be specific and shouldcover all the information and the functionalities. So we madeseveral changes over the time to improve the graphic layout ofthe application. Here is the first page of the application thatis “ ADD DETAILS”

Description: Next we have to add the details of the buyer. The pageshould be able to handle all the information of the buyer. Here is thepage for the inserting the details of the buyer. “Buyer’s Details”page is as follows

Description: Next we have to process the order sheets that has beengiven by the buyer’s and contractors. Any changes to the originalorder can also be handled by allowing them to update the order sheet.Here is a snapshot of “Order Sheets”

CONCLUSION

At the end of the training , except the programming and technicalknowledge, I also learned the following things:

Came to know some issues involved in development of software andit’s maintenance;

Used my gained skills and knowledge from syllabus; Understood what skills and knowledge I still need to work in a

professional environment;
