Even business travelers and visitors are allowed to access the MFP, print data or capture scan data from wireless LAN compatible devices, such as smartphones, tablets and computers ( * 1) . A simple but secure connection is established, thus Wi-Fi Direct is easily available without changing the in-house LAN environment. As similar security to that when connected via wireless LAN is provided, security is ensured.
