OPERATIONS
CRC’s operations produced 140,000 barrels of oil equivalent per day in 2016.
CRC is the largest oil and natural gas producer in California on a gross-operated basis.
CRC is the largest private net mineral acreage holder in California with about 2.3 million net acres equal to the combined areas of California’s 66 most populated cities, including Los Angeles, San Diego, San Jose and Bakersfield.
CRC’s facilities in Long Beach have generated more than $4.6 billion in revenue since 2003 for the city, state and port based on the government share of ownership in these operations and from fees and taxes.
Our operational control of approximately 135 fields in California provides us flexibility in the timing and scope of development to
deploy our assets in response to market conditions.
CRC has operations at the Elk Hills Field in Kern County, the Wilmington Field in Long Beach and fields in the Los Angeles, San Joaquin, Ventura and Sacramento basins.
From 2014 through 2016, our California workforce achieved their three best annual combined safety performance ratings in the decades-long
history of our operations.

CRC’s Elk Hills Field, THUMS Islands and Huntington Beach Field have certified habitat conservation and outreach programs.
CRC is committed to supporting local community groups and programs throughout the state that represent California’s diversity. CRC champions Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) education and workforce training programs that provide a path to the middle class for many Californians. We are proud to partner with non-profit groups to help build vibrant communities where we all live and work.
CRC has a statewide Project Labor Agreement with the California Building & Construction Trades Council. The Building Trades and other labor partners share our dedication to providing good-paying jobs while maintaining our commitment to safe, high-quality products that replace foreign energy imports with California production.
COMMUNITY
In 2016, CRC supplied nearly 4 billion gallons of treated, reclaimed water for California agriculture. As a result, CRC provided over 250 percent more reclaimed water than the amount of fresh water we purchased for our
statewide operations.
