3. The standard corresponds to international standard 721-2-1 (1982) regarding values of temperature and humidity of air for climatic modifications (types of climates) taking into account regional features of the USSR.

4. INSTEAD OF GOST 15543-70, GOST 16962-71 regarding requirements to electrotechnical products of economic appointment on climatic influences.

This standard extends on electrotechnical products (further products) economic appointment and for the export which list is resulted in the appendix 2, and establishes the general technical requirements on firmness of products to influence of climatic external influencing factors (further - climatic factors of an environment), concretising requirements of GOST 15150 with reference to the products specified above.

The terms applied in this standard, and their explanatories are resulted in the appendix 3.

1. The list and rating values of climatic factors of an environment at operation for kinds of climatic modifications in accordance with GOST 15150 establish according to the table and subitem 2-13.

In technical projects (further - ), standards and specifications on concrete series or types of products (further in standards and THAT on products), depending on their design features and the shown requirements to group of products or to concrete products, spend additional restriction of used kinds of climatic modifications. According to economic and a technical feasibility manufacturing of the products meeting requirements of several kinds of climatic modifications, specified in this standard is recommended.

In , standards and THAT on products specify a climatic modification kind. In the specifications and technical documentation (reference documents) of kind on the products intended only for concrete object, the requirement on firmness of the product planned to working out, if necessary, specify also in the form of values of climatic factors.

Designation of a kind of a climatic modification enter into a symbol of type (mark) of a product according to GOST 15150, section 2, thus specify group of the lowered pressure. In , standards and THAT on products it is supposed to specify in addition height above sea level or pressure.

The note. In this standard at instructions of a kind of a climatic modification in brackets the serial number under the table is specified.2. The kinds of climatic modifications specified in subitem 2, use only for the products specified in these points.

2.1. Kinds of climatic modifications: 2,5 ** (25); 1 ** (56); 2.1 ** (57); 4 ** (58); 1 ** (65); 2.1 ** (66); 4 ** (67); 2.1 ** (90); 2.1 ** (96); 5.1 ** (97); 2.1 ** (99) use for the products specially intended for application as built in elements in heated complete electrotechnical and radio-electronic products if it is caused by specificity of these complete products.

2.2. A kind of climatic modification 3.1 ** (26) use for the products intended for placing on engines of the ships on an air cushion and .

2.3. A kind of climatic modification 4 ** (27) use for the products intended for installation on engines of all kinds of courts (ships).

2.4. A kind of climatic modification 2 ** (71) use for the products intended for installation in motorno-transmissionnyh branches of some mobile installations if it is caused by specificity of these installations.

3. Requirements on limiting working values of temperature of air establish according to GOST 15150, section 4. In particular, if for products in the reference document the indicator of probability of non-failure operation 0,9999 and more for service life more than 5 years to such products make demands on limiting working values of temperature is established.

4. Products of kinds of climatic modifications 1 (21) and 4 (24) produce in a uniform design for two effective temperatures specified in the table with instructions of technical parametres of products at both values of temperature, thus nominal parametres of products should be calculated for temperature 45 .

5. If for products it is necessary to establish distinct from specified in the table of value of climatic factors, they are established according to requirements of GOST 15150, by section 5, 6, 8, 9, and also section 3 (regarding cooling by water, work in water, soil, in tight volumes).

5.1. For the products intended for application as built in elements in heated complete products, the top working value of temperature establish 55 if in standards and specifications on products of concrete series and types others are not established top working and (or) effective the values of temperature caused by conditions of operation of these products in a complete product.

6. Changes of temperature of air and value of temperature of cooling water choose in accordance with GOST 15150, section 3. Effective value of temperature of cooling water should correspond to the top working value.

7. For products to which according to the table on firmness demands are made to influence of a dust, ozone, sunlight, working values of these climatic factors establish according to GOST 15150, section 3.

8. Requirements to water influence show to products for which it is specified in , according to GOST 14254.

9. Products to which according to the table demands on hoarfrost influence are made, should maintain the appendix of nominal electric pressure without breakdown or superficial overlapping at loss on a product of hoarfrost with its subsequent thawing.

10. Requirements on working capacity of products at formation on them of ice show (if it is established in , standards and THAT) to products of executions At, , M, the OHM, the Island In a category 1, and also to intended for operation under a canopy to products of the category 2, having open mobile parts and (or) open disconnected contacts, in particular, to corresponding products on pressure St. 1000 Century

11. It is supposed (if it is established in standards and THAT on products or under the permission of developers or manufacturers of products) constantly to maintain products without change of their resource (or service life) at following values of an ambient temperature.

11.1. At the temperature exceeding effective temperature established in this standard. In this case it is necessary to reduce loading of products so that specified in standards and THAT on products temperatures supposed excess have been reduced by the size equal to a difference between actual and specified in this standard effective temperatures, and the difference should be approximated towards increase to number, multiple 5. Thus, if the specified difference exceeds 10 , it is necessary to be convinced that products can work at actual temperature of those knots and details which at work of products at in standards and THAT on products values of temperature of an environment are not exposed to the heatings close to extremely supposed. In particular, for products on pressure 3 and above it can appear necessary to consider decrease in electric durability firm, liquid and gaseous (including air) materials.

11.2. At temperature less than effective temperature established in this standard. In this case it is supposed to increase loading of products so that temperatures extremely supposed excess have been increased by the size equal to a difference between specified in this standard and actual effective in temperatures. Thus, if the specified difference exceeds 10 for electric cars (except a turbo - and hydrogenerators with length of the core to 2) or 20 for other products, it is necessary to be convinced of an increase admissibility temperatures, proceeding from a difference of factors of thermal expansion of materials, speed of increase of temperature of details at inclusion of products, temperature drops in products, etc.

The note. The actual effective temperature is defined according to GOST 15150, by section 6.

12. In the limits specified in the standard of ranges of climatic factors, some values of the same factor can be established at an establishment of requirements concerning separate technical characteristics (for example, some values top and (or) effective temperature at various resources or service life of products).

13. Requirements on firmness to climatic factors of an environment for cables, wires, cords and tyres, and also for brushes of electric cars, establish according to appendices 4 and 5.

14. Requirements on firmness to climatic factors of an environment at transportation and storage establish in accordance with GOST 15150 according to GOST 23216.

1. GENERAL PROVISIONS

Application of brushes in conditions, for other climatic modifications, and also categories 1 and 5 in accordance with GOST 15150, make with the coordination of their application when due hereunder between the organisation-holder of the original of the design documentation (or the developer) electric cars and the developer of brushes .
