בר-אוריין אדריכלים; שורץ בסנוסוף אדריכלים מעונות בטכניון

תחרות פרויקט השנה2012

עמי רן

תחרות פרויקט השנה הנערכת זו השנה החמישית בשיתוף עם האיחוד האירופי, הפכה למדיה ההולמת יצירתית אדריכלות לעודד - המוצהרת מטרתה ורעיונות. דעות להחלפת בינלאומית ישים ובר קיימא המבטא ביעילות את צורכי הזמן. אדריכלות פשוטה אבל לא פשטנית - תוצר תפקודית את ייעודו. הצלחת הפרויקט למשוך אדריכלים מרחבי העולם מדברת בעד עצמה: בכל בשיפוט נרתמים לסייע והעובדה שאדריכלים מהשורה הראשונה כ-300 עבודות, מוגשות שנה מעודדת ומעניקה לפרויקט עוצמה בינלאומית. פאנל השיפוט כלל השנה את האדריכלים: משה של ועדת התחרויות (יו"ר סתיו אוסוולדו מ"ארכי-טקטוניקס", דאבלדאם ווינקה (יו"ר) ספדיה עמותת האדריכלים), גיא צוקר. תמי יניב, ארד שרון ועמי רן. בשנה הבאה השיפוט יכלול כמצופה

את לורד נורמן פוסטר, רם קולהאס, וטויו איטו.

שורץ בסנוסוף אדריכלים בר-אוריין אדריכלים כפר משתלמים

הטכניון חיפה

כפר המשתלמים בטכניון הוא תוצאה של תחרות אדריכלית שהתקיימה בשנת 2003.

בשבעה בניינים בני חמש קומות הכוללים -512 יחידות דיור בנות 2-4 חדרים. הפרויקט

שהושלם לפני כשנה מדגים רגישות לנוף ההררי, המתבטאת בין היתר במערכת שבילים

תלויים החודרים למבנים במפלס האמצעי, חוסכים את הצורך במעליות, ויוצרים מעין מסדרון המתחבר בקצהו לטיילת ציבורית.

בינות למבנים הותקנו מגרשי משחקים מוצללים, המשמשים מקום מפגש למשפחות

המגיעות מרחבי העולם.

A result of an architectural competition held in 2003 and completed a year ago, the graduate village contains 215 units with 2-4 rooms, in seven five-storey buildings. Suspended paths penetrating the buildings on the second floor, save the need for extra elevators, creating a connecting corridor that ends in a public promenade. Between the buildings are shaded play areas that serve as a meeting place for families from all over the world.

The socio-economic changes in China over the last decade caused massive migration to the cities, resulting in the elimination of the rural house as a unique, integral part of the agricultural unit. This in turn led to the appearance of a generic structure on the city outskirts that has gradually diminished the need for architects.

Supervised by architect John Lin, students at Hong Kong University created a contemporary ecological model suitable for this new reality. The house is primarily made of a cement skeleton and an industrial brick mantle, while the family needs are expressed inside with self-made mud bricks. Thus, the three components of the building system – architect, builder and tenant – find their balanced role in the new housing realm.

The police historical museum campus on Antonio Varas Avenue has been re-designed to include an underground theater and exhibition halls. A central entrance structure with glass facades reflected in the water allows natural light to penetrate the underground floors in order to save energy, while preserving the green garden outside.

חזית ארוכה במזרח וקיר מערבי משותף המגביל פתיחת חלונות, הכתיבו מבנה שקירותיו המוטים יוצרים חזיתות

נוספות לצפון ולדרום. המבנה הקצבי יוצר הצללה עצמית, מאפשר חדירת אור מסונן בקיץ, וקירות אוגרי

חום ושטופי שמש בחורף.

המקטעים, היוצרים עושר אדריכלי בפנים ובחוץ, מודגשים באמצעות תאורת לד חסכונית. שימוש

בחומרים קלים ומבודדים קיצר את משך הבנייה והשיג נוחות תרמית התורמת לחיסכון ניכר באנרגיה, בלי לפגוע

באיכות המבנה.

Long east front elevation with a common west wall that limits the opening of windows, dictated slanted walls creating additional elevations to the north and south. The self-shading rhythmic structure allows the penetration of filtered light in summer, and direct sunlight radiation in winter.Enriching the exterior and interior, the segments are enhanced by cool led lighting.Prefabricated, insulated materials shortened construction duration, achieving thermal comfort with significant energy saving.

Facades reflected in water and see-through walls blur the boundaries of the house on the relatively limited site. Floating aluminum wall along the entrance path enriches the rather simple finishing materials - an antithesis of the bombastic buildings typical of the area.

2012 project of the yearcompetition

Held for the fifth year by AI and the European Union, Project of the Year has become an international arena for the exchange of ideas and opinions. As such it helps to encourage innovative architecture in tune with today’s needs - simple yet not simplistic. Namely - an applicable, effective, and functional sustainable product. The power of the project to attract 300 submissions from all over the world speaks for itself, and the fact that world-leading architects are involved in the judging panel lends it international significance. This year, the panel is chaired by Moshe Safdie with the participation of Winka Dubbeldam from Archi-Tectonics, Osvaldo Stav (chair of the architect association competition committee), Guy Zuker, Tami Yaniv, Arad Sharon and Ami Ran. Next year, the judges are expected to be led by Lord Norman Foster, Rem Koolhaas, and Toyo Ito.
