Energy efficient Reduces power and cooling OPEX through
industry-leading energy efficiency Up to 99.1% efficient in ESS
mode. Up to 97% efficient in double conversion The 93PM provides
the highest efficiency across the entire operating load range!
Slide 7
7 2013 Eaton Corporation. All rights reserved. ESS: How is it
different than Eco mode Fastest Transfer Times: ESS offers < 2ms
transition times for an outage condition (vs. up to 12ms for Eco
Mode). Inherent Surge Protection: Transformer-less ESS topology
offers non-degenerative filtering for lightning strikes. Load Fault
Detection and Clearing: ESS determines if the fault is at the
source or load. For load faults, the UPS will maximize its fault
clearing current by not only turning the inverter on but also
leaving the source engaged with the critical load (providing the
maximum fault clearing current).

savings Summary: ESS provides the ultimate in energy savings (ideal
for data center environments and more)! For those applications
requiring double conversion, the 93PM provides the highest energy
cost savings as well! Both modes of operation provide the highest
energy cost savings across the entire operating load range.

Scalable and redundant (available with full 200kW launch in Q3)
Lowers CAPEX through internal modular scalability and internal
redundancy in future versions: Scales up in modular 50 kW
increments, so theres no need to buy excess capacity in advance
Delivers long-term value because it grows as your business does
Features built-in modular redundancy, hence theres no need for a
second unit to keep uptime high Grow Vertical Ideal for co-los,
fast growing.coms and businesses! Ideal for co-los, fast

management: Comprehensive software suite Eatons intelligent power
manager software enables you to: Remotely monitor and manage
multiple devices across your network from a single interface; this
can be integrated into an already existing platform, such as
VMware, Microsoft or Citrix Measure power consumption and kWh to
calculate power usage effectiveness Trigger load shedding of lesser
priority server workloads to extend battery run time in a
virtualized environment. Trigger workload transfer to disaster
recovery site with no loss of data, using VMwares Site Recovery
Manager. Eatons intelligent power protector software enables you
to: Reboot hung-up machines through watchdog functionality Avoid
data loss by automating graceful shutdown of machines during
extended power outage Maximize uptime with redundancy capabilities
