Bottom Line for the Fifth Anniversary of the Fukushima earthquake, tsunami, meltdown disaster: I have been

urging public attention to the security threat posed by nuclear reactors for some time. Mitshuei Murata, former

Japanese Ambassador to Switzerland and the “Conscience of Fukushima” warns us of the approaching nuclear terror risk by citing an article by journalist Harvey Wasserman from EcoWatch, published late last year.

“As you read this, a terror attack has put atomic reactors in Ukraine at the brink of another Chernobyl-

scale apocalypse. Transmission lines have been blown up. Power to at least two major nuclear power stations has

been “dangerously” cut. Without emergency backup, those nukes could lose coolant to their radioactive cores and spent fuel pools. They could then melt or explode, as at Fukushima…”

Wasserman continues:

“The world’s 430-plus licensed commercial nuclear plants give terrorists like ISIS the power at any time to inflict

a radioactive Apocalypse that could kill millions, destroy huge parts of the Earth and devastate the global economy. Fallout from Chernobyl’s 1986 disaster has killed more than a million people. Cancer rates among

children and others near Fukushima are soaring.”

Wasserman warns,

“The 2011 earthquake and tsunami took out back-up generators at Fukushima, followed by three melt-downs and four explosions. Tsunami-like flooding caused by busted dams upriver from at least three dozen U.S. reactors

could replicate much of what happened at Fukushima.”

Ominously he reports,

“And official reports on the 9/11 attacks on New York’s World Trade Center confirm that Al Quaeda also

considered targeting atomic reactors.“

A word to the wise should be sufficient. Pay attention to the risk posed by nuclear reactors. Take these steps:

Monday, 7 March 2011

Tokyo Electric Power Company (TEPCO) submits a report to Japan's nuclear safety agency which predicts the possibility of a tsunami up to 10.2 metres high at the Fukushima Daiichi nuclear plant in the event of an earthquake similar to the magnitude 7.2 earthquake with accompanying tsunami that devastated the area in 1896. TEPCO actually made this prediction in 2008 but delayed in submitting the report because they "did not feel the need to take prompt action on the estimates".

• 14:46: A 9.0 magnitude earthquake strikes off the coast of Honshu Island at a depth of about 24 kilometres (15 mi). The Fukushima I power plant's nuclear reactors 1, 2, and 3 are automatically shut down by the tremor. Nuclear reactors 4, 5, and 6 were undergoing routine maintenance and were not operating, (reactor 4 was defueled in November 2010). The tremor has the additional effect of causing the power plant to be cut off from the Japanese electricity grid; however, backup diesel generators kick in to continue cooling. Tokyo Electric Power Company (TEPCO), the plant's operator, finds that units 1 and 2 are not operating correctly and notifies the proper officials.

• 14:52: Reactor 1's emergency cooling system, which is capable of running without external power, turns on automatically.

• 15:03: Reactor 1's emergency cooling system is manually shut down.

• 15:27: The first tsunami strikes the plant.

• 15:30: The emergency condenser designed to cool the steam inside the pressure vessel of the No. 1 reactor fails.

• 15:46 (approximate): A 14-metre (46 ft) tsunami, unleashed by the earthquake, overtops the seawall designed to protect the plant from a tsunami of 5.7 metres (19 ft), inundating the Fukushima facility and disabling the backup diesel generators – all but one of which were housed underground – and washing away their fuel tanks. With the loss of all electrical power supply, the low-pressure core spray, the residual heat removal and low-pressure coolant injection system main pumps, and the automatic depressurization systems all failed (most of the emergency core cooling system). Only the steam-powered pump systems (isolation condenser in reactor 1, high-pressure coolant injection and reactor core isolation cooling system in reactors 2 and 3) remained available. A subsequent investigation by NHK would later reveal that the isolation condenser units had not been tested or operated in over 40 years…

magazine in its October 2015 issue has published shocking articles revealing further serious irregularities

regarding the Tokyo Olympic Games.

The headlines are significant:

“We assert again that Japan should retreat from the Tokyo Olympic Games.”

“[Former] Prime Minister Mori, we’ve had enough of you!” said Masakuni Murakami, former president

of the LDP members of the House of Councilors.

“This all started with the false assurance made by Prime Minister Abe !”said Creative Director Azusa

Takano.

I am convinced of the far reaching and decisive impact of these articles. The IOC cannot much longer

ignore the increasing demand to send neutral scientists to Japan in order to ensure the health and safety of Olympic athletes and visitors. The initial commitments of the Tokyo Olympic Games have now all been

broken.

The IOC could disqualify Tokyo.

Japan is now obliged to choose between an honorable retreat and a shameful disqualification.

The future of the Olympic Games is at stake.

A decision is urgently needed.

A Note on Criticality

The term “criticality” is used in several senses in the public discussion of nuclear reactors. Here are some key terms: subcritical (the reactor is losing neutrons and power), critical (neutron flux in balance; power production steady) and supercritical — when the reactor is increasing neutron output and power. A meltdown is when the nuclear fuel cannot not be controlled, in such cases, supercriticality leads to disaster. The term “re-criticality” can refer to a nuclear system that was being shut down (in the process of becoming subcritical) failing to continue under control and instead, becoming “hotter” and less controlled. The term can also refer to a situation in which stored fuel rods become uncontrolled, such as through the loss of cooling water, and become critical again, or even supercritical, leading to a meltdown. In many parts of the US, radiation levels have been above EPA Evacuation Levels (272 Counts Per Minute) since BEFORE Fukushima and have continued to rise. But the data available to us appears to have been modified by someone or something to achieve… what?

Fukushima Daiichi’s cataclysm took place on March 11, 2011. Look at the charts below looking or the data for that period. It is not there.

Did every Geiger counter in the US go bad for a year surrounding March 11, 2011?

Please read through to the end while I explain what happened to the data, what it means to health and survival. I will also explain just what the distortion of the data means to any hope of freedom that we have if we allow this to happen.

Here’s the background: Although the US and other governments deep in the pockets of the nuclear mafia and its “lobby” continue to insist that the radiation from Fukushima presents “No Harm to Huma Health”, that is simply untrue.

Just as the EPA said that they, like their Canadian counterparts, had turned off their air, food, milk and water monitoring systems, apparently that was untrue, as well.

Using the EPA’s own gamma monitoring system (in the 600-800 Kev range) we see that the levels of radiation in dozens of cities around the US levels are high enough to require population relocation according to the EPA itself.

In fact, according to that same data base, population relocation should have been carried out years ago in many areas of the US.

We were concerned enough about this that General Bert wrote an essay on the problem and presented the data on May 31 2014.

Miami Fl, for example, had been experiencing radiation levels of over 400 Counts Per Minute (CPM) during 2104 and was, for the last 4 years, well above the EPA population removal (e.g., evacuation levels) of 272 CPM (which is equivalent to 20mSV/year (20 milli Sievert/year).

This screen shot shows Miami’s dire situation:

The EPA notes that initial exposure to 272 CPM of gamma radiation calls for evacuation but subsequent exposures of ¼ of that amount, 5 mSv/year should also trigger evacuation. Clearly, these doses have continued at much more, not much less, than the EPA’s evacuation level.

South Valley NM would qualify for evacuation according to the EPA. Here are the data:

Hartford CT was also experiencing gamma radiation levels consistently above 272 for the last 4 years:

The time line is the same: June 2010 to the present.

What about beta radiation? The health effects of chronic beta radiation, which includes exposure to Iodine 131 and Strontium 90 include cancer, and lots of it.

Let’s look at the charts for beta radiation in some of those same cities:

What happened to the data surrounding Fukushima Daiichi?

More than a full year of data, from before December 2011 to February/March 2012 has been deleted.

Fresno CA has been running gamma radiation levels over 300 CPM for almost 4 years, with spikes as high as 700+! Note the Y axis scale: 0-800 CPM.

Now look at the beta radiation levels. Amazingly, the same defect in the data appears that we have seen above: more than a full year of data missing, and that data just happens to be what would tell you what happened during the Fukushima year.

The data during 2011 appear to have been removed. Why?

Beta radiation, especially chronic beta radiation, causes cancer.

It is interesting to look at the 4 year data for Bangor ME. Gamma radiation is below the evacuation level although the level being experienced is certainly dangerous.

But look at the Beta data:

There is no drop out during the Fukushima period.

In a city where EPA evacuation levels have not been reached (yet?), the data surrounding the Fukushima catastrophe has not been redacted.

Let’s look at Tucson AZ:

Once again, although the levels are very, very high for the Tucson gamma exposure, most of the time Tucson is below the EPA evacuation level.

And, once again, the beta exposure is consistent with our observations:

No Fukushima-time-period drop out of data is observed.

Why? Why not?

Who is NECT?

On June 2, Natural Solutions Foundation wrote to NECT seeking to have someone from that organization appear on the Dr. Rima Truth Reports radio show. We received the following in an email:

“Nuclear Emergency Tracking Center (Netc) software collects data from places around the world

and creates a database the compares each radiation station with the station's history. This

way Netc software will know if the radiation is increasing in any part of the world that we monitored. “ and

“ radiation is a personal decision. The old worn out statement "It is not if but when". We now have a new statement, "It is not when the radiation will come but WHAT can you do about it?" “ and

“radiation is a personal choice on how to handle this information and we are learning ways to protect ourselves, from the food we eat to the air we breathe. We have nothing to sell and nothing to prove, what you see on NETC webpage is our way of monitoring radiation.”

Natural Solutions Foundation begs to disagree: if you have the option to work in a nuclear plant or not, or to undergo radiation therapy or not, radiation would be “a personal choice”. But when

radiation is wafting at you in the air you breathe, lurking in your dinner and entering your body in the water you use to survive, radiation is most certainly not a personal choice.

Compound that with what it means if radiation levels are being actively withheld from you.

Radiation levels are not “a personal choice” unless you can choose not to be contaminated. When data is withheld, however, making choices consequent on the reality of radiation levels and their

impact on you and your families becomes impossible.

We wrote to the NETC Forum questioning them on the apparently altered data. They blamed the reporting issues on “sloppiness”, urged people to focus on the data that they do have and said

that other people were falling down on the job, answering none of my questions.

I note with deep concern that not only have the numbers available on the interactive map at NETC.com appear to have been altered in accord with the deceptive, but oft-repeated public

“health” mantra, “NO HARM TO HUMAN HEALTH!!!”, but apparently someone took the trouble to make Fukushima time-related data disappear in certain locations.

Why?

Here is a list of the most commonly encountered beta emitters:

Cesium 137, attracted to muscle tissue, especially the heart

Cobalt 60, attracted to muscle tissue, especially the heart, bones, kidney

Iodine 129, 131, attracted to thyroid, breast, prostate, glands

Strontium 90, attracted to bone

Plutonium 94, attracted to liver, lungs, stomach

Technetium 99, attracted to thyroid gland and gastrointestinal tract

Once they enter the body, most of them tend to bind to structures and substrates in the body and remain there for long periods of time, irradiating membranes and DNA causing cancer.

It is the firm position of the Natural Solutions Foundation that all information on health hazards

must be passed to the affected persons.

In August 2015 it appears one or more of the melted reactor cores returned to criticality (see

page 4 above for definition). If this is the case, as it certainly appears, the dire prognosis is

confirmed: Fukushima, after five years, continues to be the world’s most dangerous nuclear

disaster hot spot. And it will continue to be so, for millennia to come.

As Murata-san, the Conscience of Fukushima, remarked on 21 February 2016,

“The contamination of the Pacific Ocean, the atmosphere, that is to say, the global

environment due to the Fukushima accident, should now draw the attention of the whole world…”
