company CFL cargo, we handle full trains or block trains, as well
as single wagon load. In close cooperation with our customers and
partners, we continuously improve our train capacity management
system in order to increase the efficiency of single wagon load
traffic.
Furthermore, we are experts in oversize load transportation.
WAGON AND LOCOMOTIVE MAINTENANCEWe provide maintenance and
repair services for railway wagons and diesel hydraulic locomotives
and are a European recognized center of expertise for the
maintenance and repair of freight wagon brakes, wheel sets and LOHR
Railway System wagons.
Furthermore, we provide technical fleet management services for
our clients.
PAN-EUROPEAN INTERMODAL TRANSPORTSThe development of combined
transport is one of CFL multimodal’s main focuses.
Our offering of door-to-door and combined transport services
includes:
• Management and transport of all types of ITU: craneable and
non-craneable semi-trailers, 20” to 45” containers (dry, swap body
with curtain sides, box, fridge, ...), flats, 20’’ to 40‘’ cisterns
for liquids or solids, …
• Pre- and post-carriage• ITU storage
REGIONAL LAST MILE AND INDUSTRIAL SITE RAIL SERVICESIn addition
to feeder services at several industrial sites in Luxembourg, the
Greater Region and Lyon (PLEH), we also provide management services
for private rail sidings and industrial networks on different sites
in Europe.
With the central location at the heart of Europe, on the
cross-roads of the North-South and East-West transport axes, CFL
multimodal operates trains across all borders, offering the full
range of rail freight services.
