FAIRY TALE “TURNIP”

This folk tale is about an old man who had grown a large turnip. But it

was so big and it’s roots were so strong that it was very difficult to take it

out from the ground. There are six characters. They are an old man ,an

old woman , their granddaughter , a dog ,a cat and a mouse. An old man

asked his wife to help him to pull out the turnip . And then other

characters came to help , but after a few attempts they couldn’t do it.

But when the mouse came to help them , the turnip was finally pulled out.

Every body was happy , because of that.

MORAL

I think that the moral of this tale is that if you want to do

something difficult , everybody’s help is important , inspite of the

difficulties. When something is done together , it will be done

successfully.
