4-H 4-H NEWS PAGE 01 May 2020 page 02 page 02 on the 4th page 05 I know there have been a lot of questions surrounding county and state fair. There are a couple of important dates I want to highlight. We anticipate the county will let us know what the fair format will look like by June 1. The decision on state fair will happen by July 1. If county fair is unable to occur due to regulations in regards to COVID=19, please know the extension office has already been working with a team of volunteers to bring forth two alternative plans which may include a 4-H Exhibition or a 4-H Virtual Show based on what regulations will allow. These options will only happen if county fair is not presented in a traditional format. This is a fluid situation so please understand we will need to be flexible at this time. Please know that I am always available to answer questions and concerns, feel free to email at [email protected]. -Emily Tobler, CSU Extension 4-H Livestock Agent Fair registration will open June 1, 2020 - June 22, 2020. Stay tuned for a step-by-step Fair Entry guide and animal project class guides to be posted on the website in upcoming weeks!
