Club Members,As the new President I am looking forward to working with all of you this year. We have spoken to the

Mall and they have promised to work with us during construction. We may move around a bit but we will manage. Our Friday Night Cruises will start April 6 and hope to see everyone there. We can always use help setting up. Our first event is the Swap Meet and Flea Market at Gerst Farm on May 5th. We decided not to have a car show this year. We haven’t had good luck with cars the last few years. We need all the help we can get to set up and park the vendors.

This year in addition to York and Harrington we would like to do some other cruises to some of the shows that will be listed in the Newsletter. I hope everyone will be interested. Our improved Website is up and running thanks to Joe Derkacz. Paul Mullen has done a good job with our Facebook. If you haven’t seen them yet, take a look at both sites, they have done a great job.

I hope you have your cars and trucks cleaned up and ready to cruise. We have a lot of things we would like to do this year. Hope everyone has a safe year and stays healthy. See you at the lot.

On March 3 we went to the Kent Island Cruisers All Clubs Breakfast. A great time to see everyone getting out again. The information, flyers and breakfast were great. We left the breakfast and headed back over the bridge for a trip to southern Maryland. Our first stop was at the Old Town Automotive in Huntingtown, MD. There we saw some beautiful classics for sale and a lot of memorabilia. After leaving there we headed to Chesapeake and North Beach for some browsing and shopping. We had a delicious dinner at Traders Seafood Steak and Ale in Chesapeake Beach. Club Member, Gail Smith invited us back, or we invited ourselves to her home in Lothian for a garage tour. Gail has quite a collection in her four garages. What a collection we saw, 1964 Corvette all original numbers matching, 38,000 miles, 1964 Ford Galaxy XL 500 390 code engine, 1966 440 Dodge Charger, 1957 GMC 4x4 Pickup, 1955 Chevy original, 1953 Dodge Pickup, 1967 C10 Chevy modified Pickup, 1976 Blazer and a 1988 Bronco. Her 71 Chevelle Super Sport, original owner and Gold 1967 Stepside short bed were out for repairs. What a way to end another great day. Thanks to Russ Richards for always planning our trips.
