RESEARCH
My research focus is in international law, with a focus on transnational efforts to promote the rule-of-law.
My field work is in Southeast Asia, primarily Myanmar (Burma), with case studies largely drawn from
human rights & environmental conservation. My research agenda addresses issues in the transnational
discourses regarding norms underlying international law, with publications focusing on the issues in
implementation of international or foreign legal principles in domestic contexts.
