OPERATION1. Remove the stylus cover.2. Set the funct ion lever to ON-UP.

(' lhe turntable platter wil l begin to rotate.)3. Set the SPEED select lever to the correct

speed according to the record to be played.4. Disengage arm clamp and gently position the

tonearm over the desired portion of therecord.

5. Set the function lever to DOWN.Stylus wil l be gently lowered onto the record.

6. Adjust the volume and tone controls of thestereo amplif ier as desired.

7 . At the end of the record, or to interrupt therecord, set the function lever to ON-UP.

8. Return tonearm to arm rest and engage clamp.9. Set the funct ion lever to OFF.

(Power wi l l be cut of f . )10. lt is advisable to replace the stylus cover for

protection whenever the turntable is not inuse.

To take Full Advantage of the FunctionLever (Arm Elevation)

The funct ion lever (ARM FjLEVATION) is par-ticularly convenient when you wish to choosea particular track from an LP record.. I f you move the tonearm whi le the funct ion

lever is set to DOWN, take care not to damagethe sty lus point .

OPERATING PRECAUTIONSo Keep stylus and records clean. Use a stylus brush

to clean the stylus and a good quality recordcleaner to clean the records each time beforeand a [Le r p lay ing .

o Avoid exerting unnecessary force on the tone-arm. When changing headshells, set the tonearmin the arm rest and engage the clamp.

o Take care not to impart vibration to theturntable while a record is playing. Record andstylus can be damaged.

o Never touch the SPEED select lever i f theturntable is stationary. The speed can bechanged only while the turntable is rotating.

o Never obstruct the turntable while it is rotating.This may cause damage.

a Avoid placing more lhan 2 records on the tum-table platter while playing record.
