Developing the script

You are now going to learn how to develop the script.

Captain: (loudly) Reverse the engines now or the storm will drive us onto the rocks!

Crew member: (in panic) She’s not responding! The waves are swamping the deck. We’re going to sink if you don’t do something!

Characters must respond to each other.

In the storm at sea example, a crew member could reply to the captain.
