For those who travel by land sea and airfor the sick the suffering the captives and fortheir salvation let us pray to the Lord

For our deliverance from all afflictionwrath danger and distress and from the perilof the coronavirus against us let us pray tothe Lord

Οἱ πιστοί ὑπέρ τῶν Κατηχουmicroένωνδεηθῶmicroεν

Let us the faithful pray for the catechumens


Ἵνα ὁ Κύριος αὐτοὺς ἐλεήσῃ That the Lord will have mercy on them


Κατηχήσῃ αὐτοὺς τὸν λόγον τῆςἀληθείας

That He will teach them the word of truth


Ἀποκαλύψῃ αὐτοῖς τὸ Εὐαγγέλιον τῆςδικαιοσύνης

That He will reveal to them the gospel ofrighteousness


Ἑνώσῃ αὐτοὺς τῇ ἁγίᾳ αὐτοῦ Καθολικῇκαὶ Ἀποστολικῇ Ἐκκλησίᾳ

That He will unite them to His holy catholicand apostolic Church


Σῶσον ἐλέησον ἀντιλαβοῦ καὶδιαφύλαξον αὐτούς ὁ Θεός τῇ σῇ χάριτι

Save them have mercy on them help themand protect them O God by Your grace

Κύριε ὁ Θεὸς ἡmicroῶν ὁ ἐν ὑψηλοῖς κατοικῶν καὶτὰ ταπεινὰ ἐφορῶν ὁ διὰ τὴν σωτηρίαν τῷ γένειτῶν ἀνθρώπων ἐξαποστείλας τὸν microονογενῆ σουΥἱὸν καὶ Θεόν τὸν Κύριον ἡmicroῶν Ἰησοῦν Χριστόνἐπίβλεψον ἐπί τοὺς δούλους σου τοὺς Κατηχουmicroένουςτοὺς ὑποκεκλικότας σοι τὸν ἑαυτῶν αὐχένα καὶκαταξίωσον αὐτούς ἐν καιρῷ εὐθέτῳ τοῦ λουτροῦτῆς παλιγγενεσίας τῆς ἀφέσεως τῶν ἁmicroαρτιῶν καίτοῦ ἐνδύmicroατος τῆς ἀφθαρσίας ἕνωσον αὐτοὺς τῇἁγίᾳ σου Καθολικῇ καὶ Ἀποστολικῇ Ἐκκλησίᾳ καὶσυγκαταρίθmicroησον αὐτοὺς τῇ ἐκλεκτῇ σου ποίmicroνῃ

Lord our God Who dwells on high and watches overthe humble You sent forth Your only-begotten Son andGod our Lord Jesus Christ for the salvation of the humanrace Look down upon Your servants the catechumens whohave inclined their necks to You and grant them at a propertime the baptism of rebirth the remission of sins and thegarment of incorruption Unite them to Your holy catholicand apostolic Church and number them among Your chosenflock

That our God Who loves mankind havingaccepted them at His holy and celestial andmystical altar as an offering of spiritualfragrance may in return send down uponus the divine grace and the gift of the HolySpirit let us pray

For our deliverance from all affliction wrathdanger and necessity let us pray to the Lord

Help us save us have mercy on us and protectus O God by Your grace

For that which is good and beneficial for our soulsand for peace for the world let us ask the Lord
