In terms of Railway Board's letter No. 2020/E(GR)II/COVID-19/WFH/1 DATED30106/2020 CMPs are to be engaged.Wa lk-in-interviews / online video callinterviewswillbeheldtoengage the CMP from open market on full time contractbasis who fulfil the eligibility criteria specified below ill 3l/12/2020.

Noter-1. Contract can be terminated by the Railway at any time during the contract period

by giving 15 days notice without assigning any reason.2. Retired Doctors (CMPs) who enter into contract with the Railway will not have any

claim or rlght for his/her continuity in service or automatic extension of the term ofcontract. Services rendered as full-time contract Doctors wlll not have any bearingin respect of considering of thelr period in regular selection through UPSC, nor willit confer any right for regularization or absorption.

3. The vacancy is provisional and may increase or decrease as per administrativenecessity. There may be 'wa it- listed/stand- by' candidates against the notifiedpanel/select list who may be engaged as per necessity.

4. The engagement of contract Medical Practitioner would be on full time contractbasis for a period upto 31.12.2020 only from the date of joining.

5. Period of Contract:- The above mentioned engagement is purely on temporarymeasure for a period upto 31.12.2020 from the date of engagement, unlessextended by further orders.

6. Doctors will be utilized in Quarantine, isolation centers and any other unitdepending on the local requirement for handling COVID-19 pandemic.

7. Daily rate of deduction from the pay, for absence will be made on pro-rata basis.

(D) Ed ucational/ Profess ional Oualif ications:

1. Degree in Medicine i.e. MBBS (recognized by the Medical Council of India,included in the first or second schedule or part eleven, of the third schedule(other than the Licentiate qualifications to the Indian Medical Council Act,1956). Holders of educational qualifications in part II of the third scheduleshould also fulfill the condition stipulated in Section 13 (3) of the Indian MedicalCou ncil Act, 1956.

2. Candidates should have satisfactorily completed the compulsory RotatoryInternship.

(E) Doctors serving under State/Central Govt./ Public Sector undertaking etc. may applywith NOC from the respective organizations.

(B) Remuneration

(for Retired Railway Doctors, subject to the condition that the remunerationplus pension shall not exceed the last pay drawn and the all other usual

terms and condition shall apply to both)

(F) Doctors while applying should indicate past services rendered, if any, including theperiod of contract put in by them on all over Indian Railways.

(G) Interview will be on recorded WhatApp conference call from designatednumber.

(I)Documents verification of only selected candidates will be done at the time of joiningand in case of doubt the candidates in the waiting list will be called for joining.

(J) Since, the posts over and above the vacancy as per local requirement due toexigencies on temporary measure, no prescribed community distribution(SC/ST/OBC/EWS etc.) is applicable.

(K) If sufficient number of UR candidates are not avallable, age relaxation will begiven to SC/ST/OBC candidates as per extent rules. Age will be reckoned as on

date of notification.
