Dearest Team Members

This Sept Seminar was a fruitful trip for me! I learnt so much things from other Sisters Directors, so many things to share with you! I am going to come up with a Team Builder workshop! Watch out for it. During the Seminar, Mr KK Chua (our Senior VP overseeing whole of Asia Pac region) was sharing with us on how to handle our life/ Mary Kay work situations, he got his inspirations from his recent top directors’ trip in South Africa. He also mentioned that MK China is even doing better than Loreal brand! Woohoo!

Here’s his tips on how to handle your life/ Mary Kay situations:1) React like an Impala when facing danger

During his trip, he saw 4 lions preparing to attack the impalas, and all 5 impalas saw it and quickly run away, only left 1 impala. The impala was frightened and got stuck looking at the lions, and in the end, Mr Chua saw how the lions ripped the poor impala apart. Hence he advised in facing any challenges/ insecurities, you must have an action plan to get out of it most importantly. Many of us face our fears and too often unwilling to get out of our comfort zone, so we must be strong enough and constantly focus on our action plans and get away danger to focus on our success!

2) Behave like Buffaloes

Next Mr KK Chua saw buffaloes on his way to the river, he saw them walking in herds, and there was another lion ready to attack one of them, and how the buffaloes reacted? They run in herds and stampede the lion! Hence in Mary Kay, whenever you feel that you are in “danger” (ie: Depressed, emotional, letting go of Mary Kay), don’t give up and gain strength and support by talking to your leaders or recruiter or MK company staff . Unity is strength! Come and talk to me at 9688 1798! I am always here for you!

3) Next Mr KK Chua saw a big male adult elephant and it was charging towards their vehicle. Mr Chua quickly told the driver to drive off….but the safari guide told the driver don’t move! Hence they did not drive off……and then the elephant just charge a few steps and then stopped (it did not charged again)! …And the safari guide told him that they like to do a “fake” charge.… Hence lesson learnt from this adult elephant is that – many of us face danger and give up too easily! !! We must learn from the elephant that we need perseverence, never give up!

In our line of work, we have to think positive and abundance all the time and having breakthrough mind! What are you expecting from Mary Kay? Ask yourself, is it Money, freedom, financial freedom?

Do you love to travel? I love to travel too!! This year is my travelling year, I traveled to HongKong, Korea, Jakarta within a year. Next year, top directors’ trip is in Carribean Cruise, and there will be black tie event and everyone get to dress up even your spouses too! And all these lovely trips are not just dreams, they are REAL in Mary Kay! And the trips are all rated 5 stars above inclusive of the hotels.

Do you like to be Queen? I got crowned Queen of Sales consecutively for 3 years! I never thought I could do that! And everyone in Mary Kay, sending their blessings to me! I felt very blessed!

Do you like to collect diamond rings? Most importantly I got them all FREE! I have about 11 diamond rings as of todate for my past 4 years in Mary Kay. I have the privilege of giving diamond rings (each worth about $2500 each) to my mother and mother in law every year.

I also love what Mary kay always say, what you give of to others, ten times will come back to you.

In life, we live in a practical life, what do you want to give them (ie: your parents)? My mission right now, is to help my parents to pay off their house just as I have paid off my house. I would also love to bring my parents out for trips every now and then. As my dad had a heart attack, he’s unable to move easily as before. I hope that I could give them much of my time for him as I can! Our parents have aged, I wish I could have as many time as I can with them. And let them see how well they have raised their daughter. I achieved all these to show to my parents.

When I saw so many successful people, I wished I could be friends with them, and in Mary Kay, I could do that…..we have so many mentors (many of them earning US$300,000 a month) and teachers willing to train us without obligations! I love their go-give culture. And I learnt so many things about life in Mary Kay. I understand why things happened this way or another…..i obtained more positive energy and thinking towards my life.

Are you married? My relationship with my husband has improved so much, we are much more loving now and he makes me feel precious everynow and then. Check out my facebook video while I’m crowned Queen, he finally spoke!!

Are you a mother already? Is it hard to take care of your children and working 8 hours a day at the same time? I saw so many women complaining about their work on facebook and most of them hated their jobs. In Mary Kay, I love what I’m doing everyday, and its just a simple job and just making women beautiful. No stress. Come on, be a model to your child and show them how wonderful a mother you can be and always have more time for them. I remember my mum constantly working and having no time for us while I was a teenager and even when I show her my test paper results, she has no time or too tired to see…..how upset I was I remembered! But now I understand that she’s doing all this for our lives, so now I want to show my appreciation to her to be a better daughter to her……

In life, all we wanted are : money, freedom, achievements, friends, be charismatic, and family. We wanted to be the flowers that all bees wanted to come to. In Mary Kay, if you are willing, all these will belong to you!

Are you looking for a job? But because you do not have enough school certs to move you up easily (just like me I am only a diploma holder), you can only take this certain job and typical salary (perhaps $200 more than your previous job), I had been there. And many times, no matter how much work we put into, your boss will still say it’s not good enough and your increment of salary will be delayed due to the so-so appraisal, aren’t you abit disappointed with life? I sure am, but in Mary Kay, I work as hard but play as hard and manage to move up my salary faster (from $2,000 to $8,000 a month within 4 years!) Think about it, and let me know your decision in life! Enrich more women’s lives is key to your success! Please let me be a part of your blessings in your life!

Whenever I started a class, I don’t have this thinking of selling our products, but I felt the strong need that our Singaporean ladies really need this business opportunity. So If you are working more than 50 hours a week and you have children, you will appreciate our working time of not more than 12 hours a week. I strongly felt that we should fight for Mary Kay to achieve a quality lifestyle that we need, we should not be in our comfort zone earning regular wages and have to overwork to earn our regular income just to pay off our committed bills. I have this thinking since young that we don’t have to work more than 8 hours a day just to earn a good wage. I always know that we can earn good money without working so many hours. I know that God always created us to be a SOMEBODY, not a nobody! And we have so much time for our family. There are always highs and lows in our work, and even so when you are working for people, as that’s part of our lives. Things happened for a reason! I saw so many lives changed in Mary Kay……ie: National Sales Director Grace Kao, she has enriched so many women and most of them have achieved financial independent and we all love the culture of the golden rules and principles of God first Family second and Career third, and also recently our Executive Senior Sales Director Snow recently bought a house worth 1 million dollars for her elderly parents! Your life can changed when you enriched more women’s lives! Give this career a try! Breakthrough your mind, share this career with other women around you! Get ready ! Your life in this instance is going to change!

I met Snow (from Johor) in the seminar, she’s in Mary Kay for more than 4 years and finally she saw double restoration in her life and of her income. 4 years ago, as a new grad, her dad had a sudden heart attack, and her family faced a financial crisis and they have to pay for his expensive medical bills. Her whole life was turned upside down…..until she met ESSD Jasmine who recruited her, and in the first place, she was still hesitating whether to do Mary Kay or not. First 2 years she was just a consultant, thereafter 1st time she attended our seminar Sep 2012, she became Team Builder, then 2nd time she attend our seminar in Apr 2013, she became a Director. ON TRACK for LADDER OF SUCCESS (Apr to Jun 2014)

Every Thurs at 7pm it’s our skincare/makeup open class. You can bring your guests, however you are required to bring your own products for your guests.

After the whole skincare class, let’s sit down together and do debrief.

As you can see from the above flow of the class, there are 3 parts. To all New Consultants, please memorise the following when you attend my classes: For first class, memorise what I did for part 1. Then when you come for the second class, memorise what I did for part 2 and then when you come for third class, memorise what I did for part 3.

During the classes, you can record or video taped me during the classes. This business is all about duplicating . Just duplicate what I did. And treat all your guests with the “Make me Feel Important” attitude. Tell me also your learning key points and what can you improve from there.
