Why Do We Need The Strength Of God? God’s strength is with His people

• Is. 41:10; God will help His people

• Is. 41:13; God holds our right hand

• Is. 40:28-31; He gives power to the weak

• Ex. 15:2; God is our strength and song


Why Do We Need The Strength Of God? God’s strength is with His people

As Paul states:

“I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me”

Phil. 4:13


Why Do We Need The Strength Of God? God is faithful

• 1 Thess. 5:24; God is faithful to perform

• 1 John 1:9; God is faithful to forgive

• Lam. 3:22-23; God is faithful to the end


How can I attain God’s strength? Believe that He is LORD God

• God is our refuge and strength Ps. 46:1-3, 10-11

• God is awesome Ps. 47:1-4

• Ps. 48:1; “Great is the LORD, and greatly to be praised”


How can I attain God’s strength? Know the LORD is our Father

• If we are to gain His strength, we need to know who we serve

• David knew the LORD and had a relationship with Him (Ps. 23)

• Christ wants us to have a relationship with Him (1 John 5:20)
