Royal Colony

A formal document, written in 1620, that provided law and order to the Plymouth colony.
Mayflower Compact
The acceptance of different beliefs
Toleration
Colony governed by individuals or group to whom land was granted
Proprietary Colony
A Person opposed to the use of war or violence to settle disputes.
Pacifists
To treat someone harshly because of their beliefs or practices
Persecute
Protestants who wanted to reform the Anglican Church.
