Present Tense

The stem of –er and –ir verbs is formed by dropping the infinitive

ending (-er or –ir).

To the stem one of the following endings is added for –er verbs:

-o -emos

-es -éis

-e -en

To the stem one of the following endings is added for –ir verbs:

-o -imos

-es -ís

-e -en
