+What is the Faculty Resource Center (FRC)?
The FRC is a place dedicated to promoting teaching excellence. To that end, the Center offers teaching circles, workshops, and other various services.
Mission Statement Promote teaching excellence Foster faculty development, vitality, and enrichment Offer programs and other opportunities that support faculty
as educators, scholars, and engaged community leaders and members

+Confidentiality Policy
The basic principle guiding all FRC services:
Faculty Resource Center will not provide any information that could be used for evaluation of an individual in any personnel decision.
+Teaching Circles
Teaching Circles are small groups of faculty from various disciplines who come together to discuss matters related to teaching and learning. Meet every other week Discussion is centered around one focal book
(provided free of cost to participants) Members serve as informal “discussion leaders” each
week
In the Fall of 2015, three teaching circles will be offered.

+Workshops
The Center offers one-time workshops on a variety of topics related to faculty development. Quick opportunities for instructors to develop their skills Often coordinated with other groups on campus
