CB-09-02a: Recognition of Cross Border Education and Training in Earth Observation (PoC ITC)

No reported activity since 2010 when planning the ISPRS TC-VI Education & Outreach

CB-09-02b: Summer Institute on Climate Information for Public Health (PoC IRI)

The course has been developed and continues to be developed by IRI with contributions form CIESIN and Mailman School of Public Health, 2009 reports available online.

Feedback on outputs planned for May 2011 not yet reported on.

CB-09-02c: UN-SPIDER/GEO Summer Schools on Space-based Solutions for Disaster Management and Emergency Response (PoC UNOOSA, INPE)

Spring school held in Brazil (2008) and Argentina (2010).

CB-09-02f: GLOBE/GEO Climate Education Project (PoC GLOBE)

Student Climate Research Campaign planning workshop (2009)

GLOBE professional development workshops to facilitate climate change research in secondary schools and 200-300 GLOBE schools and teachers selected to be part of the pilot project (2010)

•Several training workshops at various scales, all targeting developing countries that are organized in the frame of the DevCoCast project. These workshops also support the use of CBERS imagery in Africa.

•Regular training courses organized by ITC (cross-linking with CB-09-03b).
