BUILD A BETTER WORLD!

The goal of Library summer reading is to encourage children to read for pleasure.The library offers special events and incentives to encourage children of all ages,from infants to teens, to read what they enjoy, and to read often. Parents,grandparents and other caregivers are also invited to participate and to helppre-readers enjoy books and develop a love of reading.

GUIDELINES FOR BUILD A BETTER WORLD!Emergent/Family Readers – Minimum of 20 Books (Non-Fiction, Picture, Reader and Board Books)

Independent Reader – Minimum of 3 Books (Non-Fiction and Juvenile Fiction Books)

Read and record the books in your BUILD A BETTER WORLD paper or on-linereading log. Reach your halfway point and receive a special summer reading bookbag (while supplies last).
