(not as effective as the next sentence) Students should not be required to wear uniforms because it hinders their self-expression and restricts their individualization. The second sentence gives the readers an example of how students will suffer due to the requirement of uniforms in schools. Example 2: The legal drinking age should remain the same because its a lot safer. (not as effective as the next sentence) Fortunately, the legal drinking age will remain at twenty one due the increased number of drunk driving accidents this year by under-aged drinkers. The second sentence gives a supporting fact of why keeping the drinking at twenty one may help stabilize or decrease the number of drunk driving accidents by under-aged drinkers.
