Indoor Batting Cages

Climate

Indoor batting cages are often used in climates where season weather does not permit outside activity. They can be beneficial in keeping batting practice on schedule even with snow on the ground or when there are rainy conditions. Because gripping a bat with cold fingers can hinder batting technique, weather can be an important factor when choosing to use or buy an indoor batting cage. The cage should still be durable, however. In addition, indoor conditions indoors, such as humidity and heat, should be taken into consideration when choosing indoor batting cages. Aside from the actual netting material, the construction of a net can help determine how long it will last.

The Range Pro Modular Batting Cage

The Range Pro Modular cage is pre-manufactured by Amusement Products to give you an automated cage in the smallest space. Often used indoors, it is the most compact automated cage and measures 16ft. wide X 13ft. tall X 55ft. long. The Modular cage has a raised floor inside its steel frame that allows us to automate ball retrieval and distribution. It elevates the batter only 20in. off the floor, making it the least elevated batter's station. The Modular cage is the most cost-effective indoor automated cage for locations consisting of six stations or less.
