To see if the Town will vote, pursuant to RSA 31:5-b,to legalize and ratify the action taken by the Town atits meeting of March 13, 2012 where the Town passedArticle 7 and Article 8 of the warrant for the Town’s2012 annual meeting and appropriated the sum of upto $1,704,000 to be used to finance (i) the replacementof the two screw pumps at the waste water facility andrelated costs (Article 7, $800,000) and (ii) the comple-tion of the design, engineering and construction for thepurpose of installing a Granular Activated Carbon (GAC)filtration system or alternative treatment methods to theexisting water treatment process, along with any relatedactivities (Article 8, $904,000), such sums which were tocome from the issuance of bonds and notes pursuant tothe provisions of the Municipal Finance Act, RSA 33, asamended (together, the "Bond Issue"); the votes on theBond Issue being procedurally defective due to the factthat the polls at the 2012 annual meeting were not keptopen for voting on the Bond Issue for at least one hour,in violation of the provisions of RSA 33:8-a(II); provided,however, that should this article not pass, such vote willnot rescind the original bond authorization.

The 5-session course will take place at Antrim Elementary School and will provide free on-site child care and dinner. Newbury youth starts trash collection businessNewbury Town Administrator Dennis Pavlicek informed the
selectmen that he met with a high school student that lives in Newbury in the summers that wishes to start a business in Newbury. He would like to collect trash from interested residents at a set fee and bring it to the Newbury Transfer Station. Pavlicek said that he made it clear that the trash coming into the Transfer Station must be from Newbury residents only. Pavlicek said that he will bring demolition to Gobin in Newport directly. The Board agreed that this will be fine. Pavlicek will let him know he has permission to do this.
AT&T withdraws Antrim cell tower applicationOn January 30th, AT&T filed an application to build an 85 foot
cell tower on Smith Road in Antrim. On March 20th, the application was unexpectedly withdrawn and the withdrawal was accepted by the Planning Board at its meeting last Thursday. The company gave no explanation for the withdrawal.

Former Deering man arrested for child pornDana Moody, 44 of Clark Hill Road in New Boston was arraigned
on five felony charges of possession and distribution of child pornog-raphy. The arrest results from images and videos of sexual abuse of infants and toddlers that were discovered after executing a search war-rant of Moody’s residence. Each offense is a Class A Felony, punish-able upon conviction, by up to 15 years in state prison.

91, died Wednesday, March 21, 2012, at Concord Hospital after a brief illness. He was born March 19, 1921, in Lynn, MA, a son of the late Joseph and Mary (Fenton) Campbell. Besides his wife, Barbara, he is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Barbara Outridge and Rob of Dracut; a son and daughter-in-law, Edwin Campbell and Jeanne (McDevitt) of Weare; a sister and brother-in-law, Virginia McGill and Frank of Peabody, MA; seven grandchildren: Kelly Lemieux of Taunton, MA, Denise LeFebvre of Lowell, MA, Tara Aviles of Lowell, MA, Bryan Outridge of Dracut, MA, Joseph Campbell of Hillsborough, Bryanne Campbell of Concord, Michael Campbell of Weare; 14 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson. WARNER - Edgerton F. Hyde "Tony", 92, of Warner, died Saturday, March 24, 2012 at the Concord Hospital. Tony was born March 29, 1919 in New York City, son of the late Fillmore and Sylvia (Hyde) Hyde. 93, died Wednesday, March 21, 2012, at her Florida home. Doris was the third of four children born to Roy Harrison Kirch and Vera Dieffenbach Kirch and the wife of Donald Kenneth Sieburg, who preceded her in death Nov. 4, 2010. She was born in Newark, NJ, and attended public schools in Newark. She graduated from Stoneleigh Jr. College in Rye. She is survived by twin daughters Judith and Jacqueline and sons, Donald K. (and wife Denise), and Doug-las K. She also is survived by her brother, Roy Kirch, nine grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren. Center in New London, where he had resided for the past two years. He was born in Trondheim, Norway, on Oct. 2, 1923, the son of Sigurd and Hannah (Hansen) Thorsø. Members of his family surviving include his wife, Marion (Drescher) Thorsø, of New London; two daughters, Wendy and her husband, Lee Pelletier, of Hope, Maine, and Tarilyn Thorsø of Portland, Maine; a son and his wife, Kristian and Bente Thorsø, of Norway; a stepdaughter and her husband, Brenda and Tom Crimes, of Newport, N.H.; six grandchildren and their spouses, Jeffrey and Emily, Katy and Josh, Kristian and Sarah, Jason and Saralyn, Joel and Sara, and Julianne and Einar; and 14 great-grandchil-dren. As part of our dedication to excellence in education, the Hopkinton Rotary Club offers up to $10,000.00 in scholarships an-nually. These scholarships are awarded on a competitive basis to Hopkinton High School seniors who plan to further their education at an accredited four or two year college, university or an accredited vocational insti-tution. Scholastic achievement is only one of the criteria that will be considered; we seek students who also display excellence in lead-ership, community service, extracurricular activities, and/or personal achievement. Scholarships will be awarded during the high school awards night ceremony and will be paid prior to the start of the Fall Semes-ter, after the student has registered.
