LAlgrie a entam en 1987 les premiers contactes avec le

GATT. en 1994 Marrakech naquit LOMC. en 1996 LAlgrie

engage officiellement ses dmarches avec lorganisation mondiale

du commerce.

Lintgration de lconomie algrienne dans lconomie

mondiale a suscit des dbats entre les spcialistes, la classe

politique et mme dans lopinion publique. Les avantages et lesinconvenants rsultant de cette intgration dans les diffrents

secteurs sont les points majeurs de ces discutions.

Actuellement les ngociations avec l OMC sont dans la

phase finale. Lanne 2005 serait lanne de ladhsion de lAlgrie

l OMC.

Cet article est une tentative de deux auteurs de mieux

comprendre (et faire comprendre) un sujet complexe et ambigu.
