What is the Ozone Layer?

Layer of ozone found in the stratosphere

Discovered in 1913 by French physicists Charles Fabry and Henri Buis-son

Ozone layer created by oxygen-ozone cycle

Importance of Ozone Layer

Protects organisms from harm-ful UV rays.

keeps the surface from heat-ing up
