Dear Colleagues,
Environmental services workers are on the frontlines of battling the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) that’s spreading rapidly throughout our nation. They are putting themselves in the path of this virus in this unprecedented crisis. Now more than ever, it is important that our evs heroes be recognized for the critical and often unsung role that they play in maintaining quality patient and resident care environments.
Each year, National Health Care Environmental Services Week gives us the opportunity to show our appreciation for the extraordinary teamwork required to care for the complex health care environment. Beginning Sunday, September 13th, through Saturday, September 19th, 2020, AHE invites you to join all national and international health care environmental services professionals to acknowledge and celebrate the outstanding work of these specialists. We are honored to celebrate this important week with you and your team.
