Epidemiology
• PID are unrecognized in Morocco : – PIDs expected in 10 years: 2000 patients
• 650,000 births per year• PID expected per year :
1 / 2000 Births
• 300 / year– But at 2010 : only 10% diagnosed = 290
• HIV infection is less common– 1997 - 2009:– PIDs: 225– HIV infections: 150
• Consanguinity: 20%
