The Board of Dire. :v ... :.~ :''.:3 "1S'1o '7'1r.;:-~i~~ held on ~lst January, 2008 hasdecided to ..~I0'Y CUG (closed user group) Mobile phone facility to the 'otncers andofficials upto JEN level as indicated in the Annexure "Anfrom BSNLu'Utier Ta.-iff--Pian175, subject to the condition that' the existing ceiling on the expenditure of' officialland line telephone at the residence in respect of "C" category officers is herebyreduced to 50% of allowed calls. The copy of plan is enclosed at Annexure- "B" - andthe same is subject to terms & conditions of this order.

By providing CUG Mobile phone facility, there shall be no ceiling on telephonecalls made by the officers/ officials within the group and such calls shall be toll free .However, for making telephone calls outside the grqup, monetary limit fixed shall 'beadmissible to different categories of officers as per Annexure "A' in addition to freecalls worth Rs. 75/- per month already available under the Tariff Plan 175 and fixed

charges.

The CUGmobile phone facility shall be regulated as under:'-

1.The Secretary (Admn.), RVPNL, Jaipur shall be the Coordinating Officer forsmooth implementation of this order.The Circle Superintending Engineer shall be the Nodal Officer for this Plan.All the SIM cards for the above plan shall be got issued from BSNL by theAS(GAD),and required number of SIM cards shall be made available to CircleSuperintending Engineers.The officers/officials after arranging mobile hand set will inform concernedSuperintending Engineer /AS(GAD),and will obtain the SIM card from his officefor activation of mobile phone.The BSNL will send the monthly bill to all the concerned SuperintendingEngineer in respect of officials posted in their Circle who will arrange to makepayment of the bill straightway through Accounts Officer concerned only afterensuring that 10% corporate discount on the total billing per 'tnonth has beenallowed by BSNL. The~'~SIMcard for the CUG mobile phone sb.all .be issucd in the name of aparticular post and not in the riarne of officer/ official. On._trarrsfer of the"ffieer! official from one post t.o <'lnC'lthe:ror while proceeding -on .lorrg leave etc_, -he/she will handover the SIM card ofth at post to the relievirigofficerzofficial, ifavailable at the same station or shall deposit the sumc -with their conrrollirigofficer for issuing it to the relieving officer. In case of transfer et c., of theofficials, the LPC of the transferred official shall be countersigned by theconcerned Accounts Officer only after ensuring that the recovery of -thecomplete excess amount in respect of mobile phone has been effected. In case.ofofficers, the controlling officers shall ensure that the recovery of the excess 3amount in respect of mobile phone has been effected from the concer.nedofficels.The eUG of-RVPNL--(existingplus Plan 175)-shall also -be linked by' BSij'L withthe cub of Jaipur Discorn, Ajmer Discom, Jodhpur Discom & Utpadan Nigamand accordingly the officers of RVPNLwill also pave the- facility>of talking Withthe officers of all power companies covered under their CUG without ariycharge. . 0

No security, activation charges, initial deposit and installation charges etc.,shall be payable to BSNLfor providing the CUGmobile phone facility.No loan for purchase of mobile phone instrument will be san ctioried to

The Assistant Secretary (GAD),RVPNL,will provide Circle wise list of officer,s'toBSNL so that their bills may be directly dispatched to concerningSuperintending Engineer. He will also provide a separate list of those officerswhose bills shosld be sent to Secretary (Admn.), RVPN,Jaipur. .BSNL has offered a corporate discount of 10°;() in case the total billing of theRVPNL per month is more than Rs , 2.0 lacs. As such BSNL wifl raise ·themonthly bills after allowing 10% discount to the Nigam on every bill as agreedby them. . .The Chairman ItJ. Managing Director is authorized to decide admissibility;increase, decrease in monthly monetary limit outside CUO calls and other alhedissues under this plan depending upon the requirement.
