12).› Not maturing (Eph. 4:13-14).› Not exhorted (Tit. 1:9).› Not ministered properly (Rom. 12:7-

What will happen to a congregation without good leaders?› Remain spiritual babes (Heb. 5:12-

13).› Become disjointed (Eph. 4:16).› Become disorderly (1 Cor. 14:12, 40).› Led away from the truth (2 Tim. 4:3-

4).› Devoured by “wolves” (Acts 20:29).

Leaders at significant moments:› Moses (Exodus 2).› Gideon (Judges 6).› Jonah (Jonah 2-3).

Good leaders are trained and disciplined:› Joseph (Genesis 41; 45).› Moses (Exodus 2).

God calls Christians to be spiritual leaders for good in accord with Christ-ordained roles.

› YOU can be completely equipped to do God’s good works (2 Timothy 3:17).

The body of Christ is composed of many members (1 Cor. 12:12, 14).

› Each one is important; each one is to be pursuing his potential.

Desire + Discipline = Growth.

Members of Christ care about the same things He does (Phil. 2:5).› Love the Father (John 14:31).› Love His word (John 5:30).› Love the church of Christ (Eph.

5:25).› Love every member (John 15:9, 17).› Love the lost world (Rom. 5:8).

Spiritual leaders are those who when presented the task at hand are motivated to meet the challenge, to fill the need and to complete the demand in Christ according to His will and His way.
