We are specialized in different high-tech areas related to global societal challenges 1 . Within those focus areas, we deliver a broad portfolio of consulting services 2 spanning all stages of the innovation cycle, from building consensus on emerging challenges, formulating programs that can address such challenges, mobilizing resources to develop (collaborative) R&D activities, to managing and supporting the mainstreaming of innovative solutions. The position Bax & Company is currently seeking candidates that can drive and develop H2020 proposals in one or more of these areas: mobile and stationary batteries, sustainable agro-food innovation or circular cities. We are looking for people who have experience in (co)developing winning project proposals, mobilizing and committing the best consortium partners and co-writing all parts of the typical 70 page proposal in H2020. As a project lead consultant, you will be working on client-facing assignments involving R&D project development and management, innovation collaborations, creation of new Open Innovation initiatives, and roadmapping and planning future R&D programs among a variety of stakeholders in Europe. Consultants at our company are typically involved in a mix of different assignments that may cover substantially different fields; H2020 proposals are a key part of the mix, but definitely not the only thing we support our clients on. While a strong background one or more of the areas we mention above is definitely helpful, we most of all expect that team members have the ability to quickly learn about any new subject that our clients ask our support in. 1 http://baxcompany.com/focus-areas/ Your activities will include working closely with one or two other BaxCo consultants, as well as with clients and other parties that BaxCo collaborates with in its assignments. Additionally, we value fluency in our client native languages such as Spanish, Dutch, German and French. • Writing skills: good writing skills are essential; we need you to enjoy and be good at creating convincing argumentations, easily translating complex technical concepts into clear and compelling business language and simple yet convincing visuals. • Soft skills: we expect a great deal of autonomy and pro-activity, being able to communicate professionally with partners and clients, managing and leading discussions and public presentations.
