“Art Gallery” Assignment For this assignment, you will create pieces of art that pertain to your novel. You will create five TOTAL pieces of art on the following topics: Symbols—think of one important symbols or a collection of symbols from throughout your novel. Characters—Focus on one or two characters Settings—Think about how you can represent the setting in a novel Theme—Pick one theme from your novel Your choice of a figurative language term—Personification, Hyperbole, Imagery, Simile, Metaphor, Irony, etc. Some ideas for projects include: Posters—Must be hand drawn, not created in Pages (That’s lazy and boring) Word Collage (May only use once) Humument (I will make a copy of the page of the book for you) Meme (May only use once) 3D project of your choice Drawing or rendering of a topic Collage/Mural
