Budget requested (max. 5 Mio. CHF)

Total budget requested for the entire length of the project:

Detailed budget:

BRCCH will require a detailed budget for the project at the time of shortlisting for the BRCCH project workshop. For now, the application only requests a rough budget break down (see table below).

The BRCCH funding regulations correspond to the “General Implementation Regulations for the Funding Regulations” of the Swiss National Science Foundation (SNF). Exceptions are specified below.

Eligible costs are: salaries according to SNF guidelines, consumables directly related to the research project, costs for materials, software and equipment of enduring value (funding must be of key importance to the project; a justification of such purchases will be asked for at a later stage), field expenses, travel costs or third-party charges.

MIP funding does not cover any costs related to the employment of Investigators and Co-Investigators (their employment must be guaranteed for the entire duration of the project).

MIP funding does not cover costs related to the employment of Collaborators working outside of the four partner institutions.

The MIP salary requests for eligible individuals working on the project will need to relate to full economic staff costs (i.e. salary, benefits, insurance contributions, employer’s contributions, etc.).

BRCCH grant support does not cover the indirect costs of the relevant institute.
