Hello everyone! My name’s Kathleen Anne Nicanor and I am a 3 rd year Pharmaceutical Sciences major. I am running for one of the Director positions for the 2014-2015 Academic Year. As a previous intern, a general member, and a board member this year, I believe that being a director is the next step in my personal growth. The past three years in PUSO has truly given me experiences that have helped me become the leader I am today. Experiencing different perspectives in PUSO, I believe to have the necessary visions to keep improving the organization. I have witnessed and experienced the “highs” as well as the shortcomings of the organization. As a board member, I plan on continuing in helping create an environment where people feel most at home. PUSO has been a family and has been a support system to many, and I want to continue in fostering this type of environment to future members. I hope to continue inspiring others and truly share the passion and love I have for the organization. As a director, I am dedicated and committed in taking the necessary actions to uphold PUSO’s mission statements and provide support to the rest of board. Hello loves! Hello everyone! My name’s Kathleen Anne Nicanor and I am a 3rd year

Pharmaceutical Sciences major. I am running for one of the Director positions for the 2014-2015 Academic Year. As a previous intern, a general member, and a board member this year, I believe that being a director is the next step in my personal growth. The past three years in PUSO has truly given me experiences that have helped me become the leader I am today. Hello loves! My name is Aryanna Chavez, I am a second year public health policy/international studies double major, and I am running to be one of your PUSO directors for the 2014-2015 school year!

PUSO has impacted my life greatly, as I was an intern my first year and now am currently one of the co-outreach coordinators. Through this, I have witnessed how much work, effort, and love the board members put into PUSO, in order to make every event a successful one. Being a first-time board member, I especially witnessed how the directors played a key role in being a role model for the board members AND general members as they led the way to ensure that every minute spent with PUSO is a memorable one – and I wish to do the same for future PUSO members.

If elected, I yearn to help PUSO become even more successful, with hopes of incorporating more of the academic, humanitarian, political, and social values of the organization. I strive to accomplish this through the valued skills I have earned through my experiences within PUSO, and other campus involvements. I hope you all see me fit to fill this role for next year, as I aspire to inspire those who want to be a part of PUSO family.

Hello, friends! My name is Jeric Julian, 3rd year Human Biology major, and I am running for the position of

PUSO director. This year's experience as PUSO's financial coordinator was such a wonderful learning experience which not only fostered my love for organization, its people, and everything that it stands for, even more, but also helped me grow as a leader. For this reason, I would like to continue representing PUSO, solidifying the bonds that I have with people, and forging new ones with current and future PUSO members.

Being on board this year, there are some aspects that I felt like PUSO could have improved on which has shaped my personal goals for the organization. Although these goals will be modified based on the director position I will

hopefully receive, my general goals include inspiring the humanitarian spirit, fostering a welcoming/friendly atmosphere, and providing more meaningful career-oriented resources for general members. I aim to elaborate on these goals and make myself transparent by the end of today's election.

Hey PUSO! My name is Michael Poblete. I am a second year biological sciences major and I am running to be one of the four PUSO directors for the 2014-2015 school year. My idea of PUSO has drastically changed from my first assumptions of just a Filipino organization with an emphasis in pre-health to something so much more. I began as an intern with not much expectations, little did I know this organization known as PUSO played a huge role in my first two years of college and will continue to play a huge role for the rest of my undergraduate career. As an intern I instantly fell in love with exactly what everyone talks so highly of PUSO-the people. That unique position allowed me to not only see how PUSO ran behind the scenes but also give my own opinion on many matters. Upon the end of the intern program the desire to have a major involvement in the organization was still present and thus I was blessed with the board position of underclass representative in which I was bridge between the underclassman and board. A thanks is necessary to current board and all the members of PUSO to account for what a success it is today. I want to continue to be a part of the success, to be a part of a community in which the members are first, to be a part of future board, to be your 2014-2015 PUSO director.

Hi everyone! I am a 3rd year, Biological Sciences major and Education minor. I am running to be a PUSO Director for the 2014-2015 school year. The transition from a general member to co-secretary this year has taught me so much about PUSO and has always kept me in check with what is going on with events and the general members. I felt that I was someone that everyone could go to with questions and logistical help. As a Director, I would like to go beyond that and have them depend on me more than just as a board member, but as a friend. Something that I would want to concentrate more on next year with PUSO is expanding our communication with different people and organizations and keeping it more consistent throughout the year. It would be great to have more networking opportunities for the general members and to show them more options other than the general medical school route. One thing that

I admire about the Director position is that they keep us on track with our goals as individuals and as a board, and I would love to help facilitate that next year. I see our PUSO Directors as people who motivate our board, but not as an authority, but as a family that will help us be successful and grow.
