Research shows that effective fathers have a profound impact on child development. Funding is requested to engage a local Project Coordinator for the training of volunteer presenters to assist in the establishment of the groups. Funding is also requested to produce program resources and to purchase audio visual equipment.

Healing process through art group

This project will encourage the wellbeing of women and children escaping Family Violence through creative art activities to strengthen their self-belief and self-worth. Funding will be used to employ a qualified facilitator to deliver the activities. At the end of the project, the art work will be showcased in a local neighbourhood house to educate the community about the impact of family violence and how the community can take part in its prevention.
