Fault analysis practical

Within this practical it was all about trying to find a fault with a computer if it was inside or outside the computer and we had to see if we were able to find and fix the problem.

This image shows I am wearing the correct attire for the practical with my student badge hidden which follows the health and safety rules.

This image shows have made sure that I am wearing the safety strap which goes on the right wrist which follows the health and safety rules. Before doing anything I also made sure that the power tester was working.

This image shows I try and find the problem by putting ram into the PC to see if it works but it didn’t work at all.

This image shows that I looked at the fuse to see if it was in but it wasn’t, so put it back it using players where I was able to take the centre of where the fuse goes so that I was Then able to put the fuse back in to see if that fixed the problem. To stop this type of problem from recurring you must always check to see if a fuse is always in the plug so that when it comes to using your computer you won’t have this problem again.

This image shows that I put the pc is back on and it was fully working for when you turn it on and it has no problems.

Pc strip down and rebuild.

Strip down and put back together a computer

Start by taking out the cables inside the computer.

The next that I done was I took out the power supply within the computer by using a screwdriver.

Now I have taken out the CD drive and the hard drive by using a screwdriver.

I have now taken out the motherboard as well and the computer is empty.

These are all of the parts that where inside the computer that I took out of it and I need to put them back in.

First I start by putting the motherboard and the fan back in using a screwdriver

Then I put back in the CD drive and the hard drive.

Next I put the power supply back into its placing and screwing it into position by using a screwdriver.

Form hear everything is put back into the computer.

Next I put all of the cables back to where they go.

This is the computer finished with everything put back inside it.
