How to use this guide:

Page 3: larauhs.weebly.com€¦  · Web viewStudents write in English definitions and draw a picture to represent each vocabulary word in the box ... practicar deportes preparar la comida

Pg 1 and 2: Students write in English definitions and draw a picture to represent each vocabulary word in the box (great to use as homework). This should take students 20 minutes max.Pg 3 and 4: Guided notes for Ser and Gustar (+ infinitive). Great to have teacher introduce the first portion of the pages and then students do the practice at the bottom. Could also have students do independently using the textbook, a video, or working with groups. *Note: The GUSTAR notes follow the textbook’s introduction of the verb, in that for this chapter, only the singular forms of Gustar (gusta) are taught in this lesson… gustan comes later in the textbook!Pg 5 and 6: Student practice, would be great for in class activities, substitute teacher work, homework, partner, or individual tasks. The Preguntas Personales on pg 5 are great to use as speaking prompts for interviews, voice recording activities, etc.

This guide follows “Avancemos” book 1, Unit 1 Lesson 1 and includes ALL vocabulary covered in that unit.
