Co-Sponsored by The Sacramento Jewish Film Festival, Dr. Daniel Khazzoom and the KOH Library and Cultural Center. Five families from the Jewish community look back on a scarcely imaginable time in Baghdad – Iraq was booming, it was pleasure-seeking, and there was inter-communal trust. Iraq was once one of the most diverse places on earth, more tolerant of its minorities than any European nation.Following the film there will be a discussion led by Joe Shamash and Daniel Khazzoom. Open to the entire community. There is a suggested $5 donation. For more information contact Mehrnaz Halimi at [email protected] or 916-508-4571.
