Secnd: Michael Thompson … That the reports be accepted Carried New Members: David Rees of Tammin, with a 1986 Mercedes Benz, 420 sec. Past history with the South West Vintage Car Club when he owned several cars, ie Essex,Wolsley, Standard 10, Bedford Ute, Citroen, & 1970-80s Mercedes. Also owned Ronaldson Tippet 5, 6 & 6 ½ hp diesel motors. A change in life saw all sold except for a Series 5A Humber Super Snipe and now the 1986 Mercedes. Paul West of Northam, with a 1955 Vauxhall Velox. Paul was actually a Member from 1999 until 2014. Lost touch when change of email and address not advised. Harold & Josephine Millington of Burracoppin, with a 1976 & 1979 Ford Lincoln Continental, 1979 Ford Thunderbird, all restored, a1988 Ford Lincoln and 1942 Ford Lincoln Continental under restoration. A long-standing passion with vintage cars. General Business: * Impromptu Runs: explanation re not necessarily one day only. Imromptu Runs do have to be logged. Another Club run a Website Log for their Members. For the sake of keeping continuity and some control they advise that Impromptu runs are reasonably limited and up to 3 days at a time. *Member reference: to an approach from a resident of Bencubbin. Re mostly A chassis, british cycles & some other items. To be followed up. *Cunderdin Run, which incorporated our meeting taking place at a reasonable hour at Cunderdin Mens Shed, then moving on to the Cunderdin Car and Hot Rod Show was very well received and attended. It was stated by Members that there needs to be more of these runs, three or four times a year. Please keep pushing, Bronwyn. *Kevin Lupton, Member from Beverley and Restored Cars Magazine: Kevin and “Elliot”, Kevin’s 1934 Vauxhall axs were featured in the November-December issue of the Magazine. Well done, and an interesting read. *Club Gazebos: Thanks to Bronwyn they turned up in time to be used at the Toodyay Car & Motorcycle Show. At Lower Chittering, one also provided good cover from the approaching summer There being no further business, the President closed the meeting at 10.55am. Next Meeting Sat.
