    A.SEJARAH BERDIRINYA PERUSAHAAN

    LATAR BELAKANG:

    Berdagang alat-alat listrik. Importir peralatan listrik.

    ARTI NAMA: JEMBO

    Pada awal berdirinya, nama yang dikehendakiadalah JUMBO , yang berarti BESAR

    Akta yang dibuat oleh Notaris terjadi salah ketik,sehingga waktu didaftarkan di DepartemenKehakiman namanya jadi JEMBO.

    JEMBO, berarti Batu Mulia Yang Keras.

    PHILOSOFI PENDIRI PERUSAHAAN

    SEJARAH SINGKAT PERKEMBANGAN PERUSAHAAN

    Perusahaan didirikan ( de yure) pada tanggal 17 April 1973,

    Aktivitas produksi mulai tahun 1974,

    Pada awal aktivitasnya, PT Jembo Cable Company, hanya memiliki

    satu gedung pabrik, yang sekarang ini merupakan Plant A.

    Kabel yang diproduksi adalah kabel tegangan rendah, denganPenghantar Tembaga (Cu) dan Isolasi PVC, jenis,:

    a. Kabel listrik,b. Kabel kontrol,

    c. Kabel audio(spiker), TV,

    d. BCC,

    Type dan Ukuran yang diproduksi relative sedikit dan kecil, tapidalam kwantitas yang banyak.

    Sejak awal aktivitas produksi, PT Jembo Cable Company sudahmenjadi pionir dalam hal inovasi produk. Produk inovasi

    diantaranya,: Twin Round /Twin Flat, Oval, NYYHY.

    Sampai tahun 1982, kabel yang mampu di produksi oleh PT JemboCable Company untuk multi cores hanya sampai ukuran 95 mm2

    dengan kontruksi r m sedangkan single core sampai 300 mm2.

    Mulai tahun 1983 PT Jembo Cable Company, mulai mampumemproduksi kabel dengan konstruksi s m , sampai dengan

    ukuran sampai 240 mm2

    Pada tahun 1984 pabrik baru mulai dibangun. Pabrik ini dikenaldengan nama Plant B, plant yang khusus memproduksi kabel

    dengan Pe n g h a n t a r A l u m i n iu m dan I s o l a s i X L PE, B a r e Co n d u c t o r s .Pabrik ini mulai memproduksi kabel pada tahun 1985. Kapasitas

    pabrik ini 1200 ton/ bulan. Merupakan pabrik dengan kapasitasterbesar di Indonesia.

    Investasi berikutnya adalah untuk jenis kabel Medium Voltage,yang memulai aktivitas produksinya pada tahun 1989. Kapasitas

    terpasang kabel jadi sesuai spesifikasi yang berlaku pada saat ituadalah 100 km kabel 3 core. Sedangkan untuk Single core lebih

    dari 500 km. Plant ini dikenal dengan nama Plant D.h r y a n h

    Pada tahun 1989 PT Jembo Cable Company, investasi juga di

    bidang kabel Telekomunikasi dengan penghantar Tembaga.Produksi Kabel ini mulai tahun 1990. Kapasitas terpasang untukjenis kabel ini adalah 250.000 km single core. Plant ini dikenal

    dengan nama Plant C.

    PT Jembo Cable Company, kembali jadi pionir dalam industri kabeldi dalam negeri, yaitu sebagai P r o d u se n P e r t a m a yang mampu

    memproduksi kabel Serat Optic. Ini terjadi pada tahun 1993.

    Menteri Perindustrian pada waktu itu berkenan menandatanganiPrasasti peresmiannya. Plant ini dikenal sebagai Plant E

    Untuk memperkuat struktur finansial dan memberikan kesempatankepada masyarakat untuk ikut memiliki saham perusahaan, pada

    tahun 1992, PT Jembo Cable Company, mencatatkan sahamnya diBursa Effek Jakarta. Sedangkan untuk memperkuat dan

    meningkatkan kemampuan tekhnis pada tahun yang sama

    perusahaan juga menjalin kerja sama dengan Fujikura Ltd dalambentuk Technical Cooperation Agreement.

    Untuk meningkatkan dan menjaga kwalitas dalam arti luas,

    perusahaan menetapkan suatu management mutu dalam suatusistim berskala internasional. Pengakuan atas sistim yang

    diterapkan diperoleh dari TUV Product Sertification Body Germany.

    Sertifikat ini kita terima pada tahun 1995 yang dikenal dengannama sertifikat ISO-9002. Hal ini terus berlanjut sampai sekarang

    dan telah ditingkatkan menjadi ISO 9001.

    Installation Guide

    One of most high speed data application failure is due to improper installation techniques. To insure

    proper performance of UTP 5E cable, always follow these guidelines:

    When pulling cable, avoid kinking and tugging. Constant tension should be used when pulling cable into

    place. Pulling tension is recommended maximum 25 pounds or 11.3 kgs.

    Avoid sharp turns over 90. This may cause disruption in conductor and cable integrity.

    Special termination procedures must be followed. Remove only as much jacket and insulation as is

    recommended. Do not twist conductors more than necessary.

    Do not crush or pinch the cable

    Avoid running cable close to external power sources. EMI (electromagnetic interference) and RFI (radio

    frequency interference) may cause data transmission problem.

    Balance PairAn ideal pairs is comprised of two perfectly balanced

    insulated conductors that mirror images of each other.

    It can be obtained by innovative manufacturing

    process that result of dimensional stability created.

    The criteria of balance pair is as follows:

    > Uniform conductor to conductor spacing

    > Uniform applied tensions to conductors

    within a pair during manufacturing

    > Uniform twisting of insulated conductors into pairs

    > The assurance that twists of the pairs will

    not loosen during manufacture or installation

    The ideal twisted pair.

    Bonded pair

    Balance pair and more twists in the UTP 5E help

    ensure that the signal does not radiate or bleed off

    the pair and that the pair cancels out incoming noise.

    The twisted pair shall be bonded (not separated) to

    avoid impedance mismatches and ensure there are

    no problems of return loss and crosstalk.
