This programme introduces students to the conceptand principles of networking, design, implementa-tion and maintenance of computer network. Itcovers Computer Hardware Technology, DigitalSystem, Fundamentals of Network Managementand Network Security. Students are also introducedto the open source software in the followingcourses: Open Source Operating System, JavaProgramming, Web Programming, and DatabaseSystem.

The knowledge and skills acquired enable gradu-ates to venture into the job market as SystemAnalyst, Network Engineer, Maintenance Personnel,Network Support Personnel and Network Adminis-trators in cyber security for e-commerce and educa-tion.

work experience for those with CGPA

APPLICATION REQUIREMENT



This programme focusses on the knowledge andskills in information technology and communica-tion. The specific ccourses in this programmeinclude Basic Programming, Software Applications,IT and Computers, Digital Systems and Micro-Processors. The electives course offered areEngineering Mathematics, Architechture, BusinessManagement and Campus Network Design.

This programme is designed to give students theopportunity to learn basic ICT skills and program-ming that emphasises the development of creativeentertainment and game software. This programmecombines the basic concept of informationtechnology with technical and creative aspects ofthe design and development of computer game.Students will undergo practical attachment inprogramming and problem solving skills, computerhardware, digital media, computer network, basicoperating system, operating system, and databasesystem.

Specialised courses are also offered such aspnciples of specialised computer game, mathemat-

ics and physics of computer game, computer gamesoftware engineering, artificial intelligence , humancomputer interaction and visual design. In additionto the technical courses , the students are alsotaught English for communication, mathematics,Islamic or moral education, Islamic civil ization , andcore curriculum to enhance soft skills.
