The Komax 206 cutting machine satisfyes all requirements with respect to ca-pacity, power and quality even with it’s highly compact outside dimensions. This machine is easy to handle and have integrated wireend detection plus a diverse range of accessories. As a result, this model might be small in size but big in performance.

Area of applicationThe Komax 206 truly is an all-rounder. The cutting machine reveals it’s true greatness when cutting round and flat conductors, hoses, PVC strips, vari-ous foils, paper, fabric, etc.

This machine stands out for excellent flexibility in processing, for controlled processing and for precision. The cutting head is designed for power so it can execute perfect cuts on stranded wires up to 35mm² in size. The machine can be expanded into simple systems with the integration of de-reelers, markers and bench tops.

TechnologyThe wire guide can be adjusted in terms of parallel position and takes flat ribbon cable and round materials right to the blade. This step ensures that the cut is absolutely neat and perpendicular. Wire-end detection is a standard feature. The Komax 206 has a belt drive that is gentle on cable and that accommodates extreme tensile forces. The pressure applied by the rollers can be adjusted precisely and reproducibly with the pressure regulator and manometer.

User friendlinessThe user interface has a compelling simplicity. The software is quick to master thanks to a menu struc-ture that is uncluttered and readily understandable. Two menu keys take you through the various func-tions. There is a small number of keys in the operat-ing screen for making entries. Passwords can be assigned to protect basic data and operating data specific to the machine.

The changeover to other processes is accomplished without the use of tools. The ultra-fast conversion times facilitate the quick changing of processing materials.
